Good story for one of my favorite characters
Really wish you could still get the physical comic without having to spend 100+$ but that's what happens when you try to get older things like books. We need more Halo comics

Just one more shrug of a "Halo" comic.
Having now read all of the “Halo” comics, I can pretty firmly say that the majority of them – about 75% - fall squarely into the category of ‘entertaining, but passable’: very few of them are complete disasters, but just as few of them are genuinely memorable or inspiring. “Halo: Lone Wolf,” written by Anne Toole with art by Kieran McKeown, is unfortunately no exception to the majority: while there’s some fun to be found in the way that Toole fleshes out Linda – a character that has more or less been a supporting player up till now in other tie-in media – too much of “Lone Wolf” feels derivative of other, better science fiction stories. It also doesn’t help that McKeown’s art often feels at odds with the tone that Toole is going for, giving certain scenes – especially towards the end of the series – an off-kilter, even erratic feel. It all adds up to a comic that is entertaining enough in the moment, but – unless you’re a “Halo” completionist – probably isn’t worth your time.

Decent
It is an alright story. Rather short. I wouldn't say it is a need for a Halo Fan. Definitely won't win over anyone who doesn't already enjoy the Halo EU.

A fast, unnecessary storyline that doesn't amount to much
I purchased this version of Lone Wolf at Outpost Discovery with an alternative cover but I believe the contents are the same or just about. The story moves very fast with some rather strange logic leaps from some characters and the plot macguffins seem to come and go in the blink of an eye. The story itself is not particularly interesting and I was kind of shocked to find that the ending is a rather blatant advertisement for Outpost Discovery, the in-universe touring Halo convention I mentioned earlier. I don't mean an actual ad in the back of the book, I mean the convention literally takes place in the last page of the story. Pretty strange, and makes the whole read feel a little bit sour, like you were tricked into reading an 80 page advertisement. The art in the book is also very hit or miss. There are some very nice action shots and Linda in her spartan armor is very cool to see, but some faces end up looking somewhere between bizarre and downright laughable. Overall if you're a huge Halo fan you'll probably buy this anyway, but there is certainly mountains of Halo extended material far better than this.

It's exciting to see the story in pictures. Spartan Linda from Blue team is the Lone mission and goes off mission to retrieve a bigger prize

If you ever play to go to halo Outpost Discovery read this comic. It will introduce to a character you'll see in the exposition. AMD will make you know how it got there.
