For iPhone 5s/5c battery

The battery fit perfectly and works normally. I appreciated a slight warming up due to the cell phone persistently trying to connect to the internet and keep up to date. After updating your software, the computer no longer warmed up. I should mention that the box and the replacement tools are very nice and enhance the customer's experience with the product. I have observed the cell phone for four days and it is going very well.

I decided to try changing my own battery in my iphone. How hard could it be, right? This battery came with all the tools and instructions. It was pretty easy to do. The battery itself runs a little bit warm once in while at times of heavy use (like when I'm playing a game that takes lots of power). But the battery is extremely strong. I used to have to charge my battery once or twice during the day. Now it holds a full charge all day long. I love it!

This kit has everything you need to replace your battery, but it only lasts for about a week. It fits correctly and all the specs are correct for an iPhone5, but it's not functional. Poor value for the money.

I've replaced batteries in an iPhone 6s and an Iphone 6 Plus, so I figured I "had it down." Not so, with this kit for the 5s. Unlike the 5 and prior models, the 5s has the confounded "sticky-tape," holding the battery down. Unlike the 6s and 6 Plus, the 5s' tabs for removing said "sticky-tape" easily fail, leaving you with an old battery you can't easily remove from the phone. Oh: and unlike the 6 Plus, you can't "cheat" and leave the screen connected, during replacement -- you must disconnect the phone halves in order to obtain the needed leverage to get the old battery out. I thought I'd pull up a couple of YouTube videos (including one to which this kit provided a QR Code link) and follow along. Mistake!!! The video I considered "most reliable" omitted the tape guidance, altogether, and instructed users to wedge their spudger under the battery and push, to separate the battery from the case: NOOOO!!!! That bends the battery and subjects the user to a potential battery explosion!!! By the time I found a "don't do that, do this..." video, I had so little access to the "sticky-tape" for removal, that I had to either resort to the dangerous wedge-and-pull method or go for the heat-gun and pull, heat-gun and pull method. I opted for the former, and eventually succeeded (and, I'm happy to report, I did not get burned from a batter explosion). The "sticky-tape" strips provided in the kit proved troublesome to install: Given no instructions, it wasn't clear which side of the tape to expose, first. I chose the wrong side, and one of the tape pieces doubled back on itself and became useless. The other piece worked out. In retrospect, I should have taken one YouTuber's advice and just inserted some less-intense double-stick tape, to simplify a future replacement. 'Net: The kit works. The tools -- while not ideal -- are acceptable. The battery holds a charge really well. ...but, if I had it to do over again, I wouldn't. It's just too much of a hassle in the 5s.

Ordered this kit to replace my failing 5s battery (it was swelling so much it pushed the screen out of the frame)! The kit comes with everything you need, but the best part was the battery pry tool. Just be patient using it and SLOWLY work it under the battery to free it from the adhesive strips. The new battery has fully rejuvenated my phone with little to no power loss during the day (even when listening to music through my Bluetooth motorcycle helmet headset. Great product!

The kit was very complete and I was able to follow its included installation instructions with additional help from online videos. Unfortunately, in my hands, the battery does not hold a charge, so I am no better off now than before the battery was replaced

I am completely satisfied with this battery. It arrived as scheduled and was in a very professional package. All the tools needed to install the battery are excellent. So far the battery is functioning as promised. I would recommend anyone installing the battery to review any number of videos and instructions on the internet. The hardest part is removing the tape from the old battery. Heating the tape from the old battery from the backside of the Iphone with a hairdryer is recommended to loosen the tape. Also all attachments (screws) are very small so be careful when removing so you don't lose any parts.
