BBQ is my favorite! 😍

i was excited to try this because i had seen their instagram promo advertising it for a sampler pack with a discount. at the moment, it was a bit expensive for the amount they were offering like $12+ not incl shipping costs yet. then amazon offered it for $8 and free ship after $25 so i took advantage of it. the 4 1oz bags are like the 25 cents you get at the deli. Price point is very expensive for $2 a bag. for the quality, i think its a great alternative for vegan pork rinds. it does indeed taste like rinds (only on the spicy flavor for me at least) but the price doesnt warrant a MUST TRY snack. if it was a regular fam size, it would be probably be like $8-10 for one and dont think that is worth it. overall, if it was a sample at Whole Foods, its definitely a must try for FREE but def skip it as product to buy.

Just got them, opened up the hella hot, because I like spicy stuff, and was disappointed, reminded me of the rice cakes my aunt would call snacks in the 80's a not so fresh spongy quality and weird aftertaste. Logged on to vent about my wasted 8 dollars and read the reviews to see like minded opinions. Surprisingly, others were more positive. I read the Q&A and one person gushed about how good the nacho cheese ones are; she was right. These are very good, the taste and texture are both much better. I'm not so cranky anymore. I'll try the other two tomorrow but I know I'd order the Nacho again.

Does not taste like bacon!! It has a very strong, distinct....pea?....flavor. I can't quite figure out the taste but it's like eating soy based ice cream and all you can taste is soy. It is a bit smokey tasting so I guess that's the bacon flavor. The original is the worst, the pea? flavor is still strong in hella hot, the bbq are okay, and the cheese ones def overpower the pea? flavor. If you are not at all picky, then give them a try. I was really hoping I'd love these! :(

I stopped eating pork years ago but I never forgot the taste of pork rinds when I ate them as a kid (I did go back to eating pork for a short time before going back to a no pork diet, but never indulged in prok rinds, even then). Every time I went into a store I would stare at pork rinds and be sad, not just because of me no longer eating pork, but because most pork rind products contain chemicals and ingedients that make my stomach hate me after eating them. I recently adopted a semi-vegetarian diet due to lupus induced CKD, so eating pork, especially now, is out of the question for me. I recently found these as an ad on Facebook and decided to give them a try. They are awesome. Now when I have a pork rind craving, I can satisfy it and feel good at the same time. Wanted to buy more from Amazon but out of stock, so I ordered more directly from the makers. I am happy.

They succeeded in the texture of the pork rind but I wasn’t a fan of the flavored bags. They tasted like fake flavoring and I was never able to finish a bag other than the original.

Wow! These chips are so crunchy and delicious! I am a vegetarian and sometimes miss going to my favorite Latin restaurant with my fiancé and getting their pork rinds. However, now I am beyond thrilled that I can have that amazing, salty, crunchy experience with him from the comfort of our home! There was not one flavor I didn’t love but I have to say the BBQ was my fav! Another thing I love is that these rinds are high in protein so not only do I get to have a delicious snack, but I also know it’s nourishing my body. Thank you Outstanding Foods for bringing a nostalgic experience back into my life! Highly recommend these for a delicious treat!!

I'm sure that there are people out there who will enjoy this product. I am not one of them. I feel like they are being marketed as a vegan replacement for pork rinds. They in no way taste anything like pork rinds. The flavor starts off ok but then it just tastes like peas. Not even good peas. Like old, canned peas. I feel like they should just be sold as pea crisps because that's a more honest description. I applaud anyone who is making food choices that don't cost animal lives. Just get used to never tasting pork rinds again. Because nothing tastes like pork rinds except pork rinds. God I miss pork rinds.
