Lean Production Simplified

I have been using this book for training groups since the first edition. There is some good new content, the formatting is improved and Pascal even added some nice questions to ponder at the end of the chapter. Would definitely recommend it. Easy to read, contains the what's and the why's.

Cheap for school

Just a great easy read into the world of LEAN. I give this book out at work to the people that are curious and who are also wanting to find a way to improve things in their areas.

Good book easy to read and understand.

Liked the explanation and reiteration of lean thinking principles to emphasize how to teach it to others. The fact that they go into detail on how to be on the other side of this knowledge helps to more effectively present it to new learners. This is critical spirit that we all can benefit from inheriting. Owner, President, CEO, Director, Frontline management, Frontline production, quality, sales, HR, coaching etc. We all can help it better ourselves thus the entirety of a company and community.

I listen to this when i am in my shop or truck, it helps to listen to it once in a while as a refresher.

This is a great book. It isn't joking about being "simplified." Chapters are short enough to grasp the concept and each chapter is very easy to follow. I have learned a lot about Lean from reading it.

It's just a simple guiding book for lean! It summarises all what you need to know about lean philosophy and application through well-explained lean house. The book explains in detail each element of the lean house including the philosophy behind each concept/tools and how & when to implement it in thorough description associated with real examples and templates. Although the title of the book sounds like a reference for lean beginners, I found it still valuable also for lean practitioners and experts. The book brings a lot of valued insights about lean principles and practices from Toyota where the book's author worked for years.
