It plugs into a USB like your computer and has an adjustable goosneck. The switch has 3 tones of lighting you can choose from on the attached adjustor and also 3 levels of brightness. The clamp will attach to about any shelf like ledge and opens to a width of about 3-4 inches at its maximum. Its a great desk light and a great bedside tale light. I have also used one on my coffee table when doing my nails and watching tv.

I like to read in bed. I tried a conventional reading light, but it's throw was too large and it didn't dim enough, so the light would wake my wife. I also needed something that would attach to the headboard without being too conspicuous. This little light is a perfect match for what I need. This light is powered by a standard USB phone charger, which is not included, but most people have several of these. It doesn't draw much power, so your oldest one will work fine. It's clear that someone put a lot of thought into the design. The light head is about the size of a K Cup coffee pod. It is supported by a solid, flexible metal goose neck that holds it in position easily. The attached controller has several buttons to adjust the brightness as well as the color of the light. There is also a power on/off button. All of the buttons engage with a solid but quiet click. When the light is off there is a tiny blue LED on the power switch to locate it in the dark. Once you get the light adjusted to your needs, it will remember those settings every time you turn it on. While this light is physically tiny it is capable of surprising brightness, so it will probably work for other uses beside nighttime reading. Bottom line? I just bought another one for my wife's side of the bed.

This lamp has variable light settings, long USB cord, and tight clamp. The brightest setting was not bright enough for my needs. Otherwise excellent lamp.

It's perfect, very strong clip, light has that long neck that you can adjust as you wish. USB plug in. Light is strong. I am using it for artwork and to look at small print. PERFECT. Especially now in winter that the afternoon light does not last as long.

excellent lamp with easily adjustable gooseneck, bright light that can be dialed down, can run from a power bank for quite a while. The lamp control is more complicated than needed, has 4 buttons, hard to find the on/off switch in the dark.

These things are like potato chips! I can’t stop buying them! They adjust to whatever brightness and spectrum you want. It’s tiny yet bright and the cord and the neck are long, enabling it to go virtually anywhere and illuminate anything. I originally bought them as inexpensive picture lights. I cut off the clamps and gorilla-taped the stems to the backs of the picture frames, so they go over the top and point down at the pictures. Looks great. Now I want them in every room.

Me gustó que tiene mucha estabilidad; el clip “agarra” bien y el cuello flexible es firme. Ilumina muy bien para mesita de noche. El único posible “pero” es que no es recargable; necesita estar conectada y no trae el cargador, pero fuera de eso, es buena 👌
