My Little Pony: The Manga A Day in the Life of Equestria Vol. 2 Kindle & comiXology

No friendship school, no "every creature", no Starlight Glimmer, no out of character moments. This is the kind of storytelling you get when the writer actually cares about his work as opposed to trying to push their own vision of what MLP should be. As someone largely jaded to what MLP became over time, this was like a breath of fresh air. Compared to the first volume, this one focuses more around Pinkie Pie as opposed to the rest of the cast. She tends to be a pretty hard character to write well, but the author does a great job here. The story revolves a little too much around fan service for my taste, but it's still an excellent read for those wishing to get Pony Life and the later seasons of FIM out of their minds.

Pinke is really looking forward to tomorrow festival. The problem is she may never get to enjoy it as the day before the festival just keeps repeating itself and only she's aware of it. now it up to Detective Pie to solve the mystery with help of Doctor Hooves, Derpy and others.

The black and white artwork is so lively and cute! I love all the cute stories and funny moments! The best My Little Pony merchandise I have ever had the pleasure of gazing upon! Both vol 1 and vol 2 are wonderful trots through ponyville!

It takes time (2 chapters or so) to get funny. But once it does it is very enjoyable and entertaining.

The manga is very good. What I like about it was funny and had good story behind on time travel

Superficially, this is a Loony Tunes-style parody of Groundhog Day, if Groundhog Day were an episode of Doctor Who. Pinkie Pie is stuck in a time loop and is completely oblivious to the fact for far longer than she ought to be, ultimately requiring the aid of a mysterious time/multiverse traveler and his assistant to escape her temporal prison and foil the machinations of the villain behind it all.A time loop plot like this one has to be handled carefully or it can easily turn from predictable to tiring and then to annoying as you wonder when the main character is going to put down the idiot ball and figure out what's actually going on.In this case, the author executed it *wonderfully* by making the comedy elements top priority. There wasn't a page in this entire book that didn't garner at the very least a smile from me. There were many pages that had me laughing loud enough to annoy the neighbors in the apartment next door.A number of plot points were predictable in the broad strokes, while the details managed to remain surprising. For instance, the trope of "character leaves a message for themselves from the future to discover in the past" has been done a million times in other similar works and is quite obviously foreshadowed here. But the ultimate origin of the message and the unintended consequences for leaving it came hilariously out of left field.I heartily recommend this book. It's just page after page of good clean fun.

Very much enjoyed my time with this book. The characterizations are on point and the book is very funny, even when the plot kicks in. The art is very fetching and conveys emotion and characterization easily and in a very pleasant fashion. If I had to lodge any complaint it is that once the focus shifts to another set of characters, I ended up not liking it *as* much. Minor complaint. Really enjoyable!

Führt die lose Story des ersten Bandes in einer fortlaufenden Geschichte weiter. Hat wie immer viel Humor und Artstyle ist Super Niedlich. Story würde ich aber nur 4/5 Sternen als Fan geben. (Der erste Manga war ein wenig bessertrotz loser Handlung)Dr. Hooves Fans kommen hier auf ihre Kosten ^^

Excelente producto, las historias son geniales y el trazo es muy bueno, me gusto mucho, espero ansiosa el siguiente tomo. La entrega se retraso un poco, pero Amazon siempre me mantuvo al tanto.
