I just received this case, two days early, by the way, and so far, I am enjoying it.This is essentially a hard case with plastic screen cover. There are cutouts in the screen cover for the home button and the camera.The plugs for the charging port, headphone jack, and micro-SD slot are all very tight. Feels like they are very secure. We shall see how long they last with regular use.The texture is similar to superfine sandpaper. (It is not rough, but I don't want to call it "pebbled" because that implies something similar to the texture of a football. It doesn't give it any grip on hard surfaces the way rubber would, but it adds to the tactile experience. The design on the back really helps the user's grip. The back on the Galaxy Tab isn't slick or slippery but it is not easy to hold onto. This cover really helps with the grip. I wish there were a few rubber feet or plugs on the back to help the Tab stay put.I use my Tab at work (I'm a school teacher) and I have been carrying it in my back pocket. I hope this case doesn't affect that.Overall, I'm very pleased with the fit and finish.

Fits exactly perfect! been using this for the past year and love it! saved my tablet many times from being broken. Can't say too much more its just perfect and an excellent quality product! if you have a micro usb drive you do have to take the case off to use it and the micro sd card takes a little bit of work to get it out but those are small things, overall it is probably the best case I have used. the quality and ease to put it together are excellent! We really enjoy trying and testing different products and reviewing them. When we are purchasing items the first place we look is the review section to see what experiences other shoppers have had with a particular item. This has been a big part of our decision to purchase an item or not. Because of this, we like to leave detailed reviews of the items we purchase to help others make the same decision.

I was a bit worried about purchasing this product after reading the some of the reviews. I decided to just go ahead and get one. So far it has been a pleasant experience. The case fit perfect on my Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0. One thing to mention is this one doesn't have a cutout for the phone version (which I don't have but wanted to let others know). Everything else is there. The screen protector is very clear and seems durable. The outer case does as well. This case/protector holds the tablet nice and tight inside. I am very pleased with this product and would recommend this to others who are interested.The included pictures are of the case. The one with the tablet inside shows some smudges that are just from handling it for a few minutes. These will wipe off easily with a micro fiber cloth.

I'm a person who drops their tablet about three times a day, and while this was fine when I had a cheaper tablet, when I upgraded, I wanted some protection without spending half as much as the device cost in the first place over again, so I figured I'd try this case out, and all in all I'm mostly pleased with my purchase.It feels very solid and adds quite a bit of heft to the device, but is also easier to hold than the bare tablet. Once the cover is on, it makes the rear camera lens slightly recessed, which eases my fear of setting it down and scratching or getting dirt on the lens, and also cuts down on me accidentally touching it. The cut outs are in the appropriate places for everything, and it fits very snugly.When looking at the screen, you can only tell there is a protector if you look around the camera or home button where it's cut out. It does make touching the screen feel plasticy and a little spongy in spots, but I haven't noticed any delay or difficulty in intentional taps registering, even in the parts where the touch feels spongiest.The power and volume buttons are completely covered, and need to be pushed a little harder than just the bare buttons would be, but they are still plenty responsive.The parts you have to pull back to get to the microUSB port, headphone jack, and microSD slot are kind of finicky to open. The microUSB port slot is a perfect fit and once you open it, it's easy access and doesn't push much on the cord once inserted. The microSD slot isn't quite as nice. It makes the existing cover for the slot tricky to get open. If you don't have long nails like I do, you might need tweezers or something to reach in and get it. I am even less than impressed with the headphone jack cover. For most people, I imagine it would work fine, but I have over the ear headphones that have a larger hunk of plastic around the plug-in part, because they come with an adapter for larger audio jacks, and I am unable to use them with the case on because the access is just too small.A word of warning: It is a HUGE pain to get on. You are going to feel like you're breaking the cover to get the screen protector portion off so you can put your tablet in, and it'll hurt your fingers a bit to pry back the plastic. However, once it's on, you're not likely to need to take it off.All in all, for the money, it's still a pretty good case.

I was a bit skeptical buying this case for my Tab 4. I tend to be picky when choosing one. When it arrived, I took the rubber off which was a challenge as it wraps around the plastic front for a good tight fit. No complaints there, just be prepared, it's what makes the case great. You have to apply a little force (I do mean just a little) to get your tab to snap into the plastic front, again no complaints as it is best to have a tight fit. Put the rubber back on and it looks great on the tablet. I haven't dropped it, but it does feel as if it would protect it. It does have port covers, but when I charge the tablet the charger tab won't stay in place, no problem give it a few minutes and then press it back in and it will stay. Not water proof, but I would say if something was to spill on it and get around the home button that you would be safe. The built in screen protector is holding up pretty good. My fingers are rough so I have yet to see how long it holds up. Great buy for the price, feel, and build.
