Grows well. Cats like it. I bought this with some vermiculite and use it in my CatIt grass tray after those refills were no longer available.

Thunder Acres Organic Cat Grass Mix, 8 oz. - My cat loves this grass! It sprouts in a few days and grows fast. My cat likes having her own grass to eat and of all the cat grasses I tried, she prefers this blend. I like that it is an Organic Mix. This product is easy to use. When the grass gets too tall and starts to dry out, I pull the grass from the pot and replant new seed. In a few days, my cat has fresh grass. I repeat this grow cycle throughout the year. I am reordering another 8 oz package of seed because the bag is getting low. This current package should actually last a few more months, but I don't want to run out. I estimate this 8 oz bag of seed will last for a year plus a few months, depending on how often one replants for new grass. Bonus Toy - My cat absolutely loved the cat toy that came in the package! It is her favorite toy to play fetch with and she is a senior cat.

This is one of those products I feel is a win-win, I feel good to support a small family farming business who provides a unique product with a high level of quality, and in my opinion, a very competitive price. I Tried out of variety of leftover cat food containers by poking some drainage holes and using potting soil and a Basic growl lamp and I think meow mix containers worked the best. One thing that took me a while to realize that I was harvesting the grass Prematurely. My cat is obsessed with grass and he pretty much demand it with every meal so I usually snip it onto his food, by letting it grow pretty tall, I have more supply than when I was cutting it at the more average grass length. I keep the seeds in the fridge. I think this is the most optimal way to store them, but I have no scientific data to support my claim.!

So far so good! Day 3 of growing and still waiting long enough to give to my cats. Overall growing away! Just lightly watering daily. I liked the ingredients.

My cat loves Thunder Acre Wheat Grass, but doesn't care much for this grain blend. It is good quality seed and germinates well.

My cat really likes this blend. The amount of seeds that sprout is fantastic. Very easy to use in my hydroponic cat seed grower. My cat also really liked the little toy mouse gift inside. I did too. I reminded me of cat toys I used to get decades ago...simple and fun. I will be back when I need more seed.
