Luckily they give you the tools cause you will probably need it. Ok so I fixed my phone which was not working and wasn't ready to buy a new one. For the money it was great. The directions do tell you that it will need to be charged to 100% and then drained down to zero several times before it reaches it's full potential and that is true. That took about a week. You want to charge and then drain completely several times. After that it stays going for about 2 days max. As for the replacement part of it. You will need some alcohol, and a heat gun, in addition to the tools provided for you. Also, it is a little tricky to do it but it wasn't real bad. I suggest finding a youtube video to help you. The battery itself is glued in to the phone and for that you need to use alcohol. To get the back cover off you need to run the heat gun on the edges for about 4 minutes and then it starts to fall off on it's own. You don't really need to pry on it much. One tip I learned is that after you get the old battery out you should leave it to air dry for about an hour. I thought it was dry but I trapped moisture in it and that showed up on my screen. It has since then got better mostly. That's my fault but the battery works good. Just make sure to get all the moisture out of it before sealing it back up. Other than that with the help of youtube it wasn't very hard. Took me about 30 minutes and this is my first time doing this. I knew I needed a battery because it would not hold a charge and was rebooting over and over on it's own. It would work plugged in but would not work when you unplug it. It just died. If that is what yours is doing then you probably need a battery too. My old battery looked huge and was starting to break apart. Cost me $30 total for the battery and heat gun.

I used this to replace my old puffed up battery. Very easy to install just have to watch a video online and follow. Battery came charged to 70% and the phoned charged the battery normally with no issues. Comes with a set of small screw drivers, 2 pry tools and some adhesives tape.

I almost NEVER WRITE reviews, but the battery this seller has sold to me for my phone has incurred me so much cost and so much headache I have to do it. This battery gets discharged in an hour without anybody using the phone or any open application. I never had this problem with my old battery. I only changed it because I felt my old battery has swelled a little so I thought it would be safer to change it. It has cost me so much to have my old battery to be replaced by this junk that does not work. Sellers like this should be taken out of Amazon's list of sellers.

This fit the phone perfectly but have to say the battery life is subpar and nowhere near the life of the factory one.Update:Seller wanted to send me a replacement battery so went ahead with it. The replacement battery is an improvement it lasts longer than the last one al the first 25% goes fast the remaining 75% holds out better for my usage which is very light. I would expect a normal user would get maybe 1 to 2 days but not sure as I place mine in airplane mode most the day as where i work it gets no signal, so I got about 3 to 4 days. I have concluded that most these aftermarket replacements will never last as long as the factory and I am ok with that. If I wanted factory life, I would expect to pay for factory life.I raised the stars to 3 as I give it to the seller for trying to make things better, but it’s not a 4 or 5 start battery, this is not a reflection on the seller but the product.
