Disclaimer: This stand was offered to me by Klearlook as part of a promotion; my review is however impartial. I'm pretty happy with this phone stand. Its form factor is relatively compact and it doesn't take too much space on the desk. It is height-adjustable and the top part can also be tilted. Its maximum height (which is the setup on my photos) is great for my use; I could also do with an even higher stand, but then there would need to be some compromise on stability or size. The materials are nice and the phone holder is rubberised, so it feels like a quality product. Despite being fairly light and high, the stand is surprisingly stable even with the phone in portrait orientation; I haven't tried with a tablet so can't comment on anything bigger than a phone. The holder keeps the phone well in place with no sliding and the brackets leave a nice gap so that the phone can be plugged with no obstruction even in portrait mode. The depth of the brackets is about 13mm so any recent/slim phone should fit even with a (slim) case; but it may not fit if you have an old thicker phone or a thick case. Although I got it for free, I think the price of this stand (£10.99 at the time of writing) is a decent deal.

At first I thought it was smaller than expected, although the device is compact it does the job I was able to use it as a phone stand and a tablet stand. And I am able to work more efficiently without compromising my posture. It also arrived very quickly, I like the idea of being able to adjust the weight and because it’s so weightless and compact I can easily put it in my bag and carry it with me if I’m changing my workspace, and it does not take up any space. I did try to use it on my 12.9 inch ipad and it was able to hold it but I could not angle the iPad, I was surprised it was so sturdy because it’s only compatible with 9.7.

Since the pandemic lockdown, my broadband has been playing up. As someone who worked from home, I always got disconnected many times during my virtual calls (looked unprofessional when calls dropped 4-5 times in every meeting). Frustrated, I downloaded the conference app on my phone, in a bid to use it over 4G (mobile data) and not having to worry about disconnection (4G signal is good in my area). Earlier on, I bought a tripod but the setup before meetings was a hassle. I had to remove my bulky phone cover, attach it to the tripod, orient it properly etc. Repeated use (maybe a week or so) also damaged my earphones since the connector/jack kept getting caught in the moving parts. I then discovered this stand and promptly ordered it. The base of the stand is slip proof (if using a desk/table). Even the phone holder has a silicone pad which helps the phone stay in place. Since I've used this, my video calls has gone smoothly. It's just a matter of placing my phone (iPhone 11) on the stand and dialling in. Also, the height is adjustable which gives greater flexibility to arrange oneself in the camera frame. I use a bulky phone case but I don't have to remove it anymore. The earphone cable with lighting connector nicely feeds through. Nowadays, I have the phone on the stand throughout the day (in a work setting). It's easy to use the apps, make phone calls and then placing it in front before video calls. I recommend this device.

Great for folding phone and maybe a small tablet. If using tablet id opt for a better stand. As if pressing the screen it could topple

Needed a stand for my phone for virtual meetings which was robust, adjustable for the right picture angle and also allowed me to use my ear buds or charge the phone whilst using the phone in meetings. I’m so glad I checked reviews and opted for a more sturdy and robust stand even if it did cost a bit more. The stand has a square base with curved rubber bits at each corner of the underside of the base that keep it in position on my desk. The base doesn’t take up much space but provides excellent stability. It is sufficiently height adjustable and tilts so you can get the right camera angle too. I have a pop socket on the back of my iPhone 7 and the phone still fits nicely and securely in the lip of the stand in either portrait and landscape mode. I have recommended to family members and work colleagues too as I’m so pleased with this purchase which has made virtual meetings on my phone so much easier.

This cellphone stand is very useful for handsfree whatsapp/zoom calls for positioning your phone correctly. It is surprisingly heavy duty, sturdy and stable with the main shaft made of metal and the base weighted for stability. The plate for resting the phone on has a rubberised surface which prevents the phone from sliding off. The angle of the phone and the height of the stand can be adjusted. The only reason the stand doesn't get 5 stars is because it's not very portable and thus not completely versatile. Other than that it is an excellent purchase for your home/office
