As claimed in the product narrative, " This base is compatible with ... blades that the outside diameter of the gasket or the base of the blade is 2 5/8" (so not sure why the product images indicates 2.75") and my cutter blade and gasket fit perfectly, but the outer diameter was too large to permit the jar to sit in my blender base deep enough to engage the drive clutch.Returned it and received a refund...so Amazon's service was 5 star...but this is a product review only.

Ordered wrong
Looks of good quality. Unfortunately I ordered the wrong size. Doesn't fit my blender cup.

I have a commercial blender. The manufacturer said these are no longer available. Thank goodness for this seller. Otherwise, my $400 blender was worthless.

Its ok
I enjoy this blender so much I have two. One which is about 20 years old and still works and if it ever dies I have a backup. The old blender has a metal base ring which cant crack like the the one newer HB908 I replaced. The replacement base ring works just fine but not great.
