Small Magnetic Cup, Black (1018-3171-20-000)

I have to buy my son a new one of these every year for his locker because his always seems to disappear. How can that be? You used to be able to find these easily at the big box stores for a reasonable price. Now, I know everything has gone up but the past few years I have not even been able to find them at the big box stores and when I looked on here they were much more than I had expected to pay. Nonetheless, I bought one last year and it appears I will be buying one again this year since he never brought last year's home either. Wild really ....He really likes having them in his locker to hold all his extra writing supplies throughout the year. Makes me wonder how long into the year it lasts before it disappears though .....

I ordered these since I needed a way to store smaller objects on a forklift. The original intent was to use them to hold small Symbol/Motorola Android industrial scanners. That has worked well, but I installed additional baskets for pencils, pens and markers for forklifts as well. If one breaks or becomes destroyed being in an industrial environment, I'll just replace it with another one.

I got this for breast milk bags to hang on the side of my fridge. Works pretty well! The magnets could be stronger, it’s not strong enough to hold a sharpie too. That being said, it holds the bags great!

Bought teo and put one on a magnetic tool strip and another on the fridge. Liked them so much that I bought two more for the rest of the shop. I didn't expect the magnetics to be strong and was just going to hammer nails through the mesh, but the magnetics held on with quite a bit packed in each pencil cup (see photos).

Looks great and is exactly what I needed but the magnet is unfortunately very weak and kept falling off my work locker every time I put anything somewhat heavy in it, like my cell phone. I’m sure I can glue additional magnets onto the back but haven’t got around to it yet.

Love the magnetic cup. I originally never wanted items hanging on the front of the refrigerator but our daughter caused dents all of the top when using a magnet. We purchased a magnetic calendar and needed the cup to hold the dry eraser markers. It honestly looks very nice and although there are dents under it all, it looks great and no one knows :-)

We have lots of magnetics on our refrigerator and we were really excited to get this cub to put all of our dry erase markers in. The look of it is very sleek and modern. However, the magnets on the back are definitely not strong enough to hold almost anything. We had to put magnets underneath it to hold it up. was disappointed in the hold, but, would recommend it if you are only keeping a couple things in there or something a little bit lighter. It looks beautiful on stainless steel and seems fairly durable on the actual metal, just not the magnets.

It’s good for small things like Pens, Phone. The magnets don’t seem super strong and the product had appearance flaws. It’s cheap so you get what you pay for. 7/10 rating.

This little pen holder works perfectly. It fits quite a few pens and the magnets are so strong that it doesn't weigh it down.
