I was surprised at the quality of these storage jugs. They are well made, appear rugged, and stack nicely. I would not stack them over 2 high, because I think the compression from two on top of another might cause early failure. These are also at the limit of portability for one reasonably fit person. 5 gallons of water is just short of 42 pounds in weight, so you will not generally be carrying more than one or two of these at a time. The caps with seals are good, although these are one-time strip seals, so after the first refilling all that remains is the caps, which still work just fine. There is a little vent with cap on one end of the jug too, to allow air to get in while pouring, which keeps it from glugging out of the container in use. A spigot comes with the kit, as well as a wrench to tighten the caps, both useful and a nice little bonus.There is also a very nice single page document included by this vendor that is informative and useful, and shows that they understand the clientelle, and the uses these jugs are put too. They didn't need to add that, but I suppose it's better than field phone calls and e-mails, because it answers a lot of questions. Still, well done on their part. I will be buying another set from this company based on that and the quality of these jugs.

Wonderful product for a great price! They stack well (lock together) and are very sturdy. I bought 3 sets of 6 for a total of 18 (2 sets for gifts to son-in-laws). I wish that I had gotten these 20 years ago. I cleaned with white vinegar to disinfect and eliminate any odors. Honestly, not necessary as there is no plastic smell. Just a rinse would likely be fine. With water, it weighs about 40 lbs. so it is portable. I filled with RO water (with minerals added back in) and 5 year preservative. The Seller is great and extremely responsive. Great design and I will be buying more!! Thank you and I would truly give the Seller and the product 6 stars if I could!!

You can bet I’ll be ordering these again from Polyfarm. The product is sturdy, stackable and sleek enough to keep in the kitchen.We decided to get these because we are investing getting spring water from a forest. My whole family does it and we just jumped on the bandwagon.I wanted something stackable with a small footprint and this fits the bill.I would also like acknowledge that Polyfarm has given me the best customer service I have ever gotten on Amazon. Josh A was prompt, generous and answered my questions regarding how to use the caps and spigot.Such a win-win. I’m really happy.

These are quality containers. They come with everything needed including a spicket and a wrench for the caps. The plastic is thick and strong. Instructions and recommendations are also included. I was initially going to go with the big tank storage containers but I figured the portability of these 5 gallon containers is a great option and easier to deal with. Of course all the containers out there have a smell of new plastic but this company addresses it and recommends to air them out. They do come with plugs in the openings to prevent anything from getting inside the containers. They are packaged and shipped professionally and the stackability of these containers is a space saver. Will definitely be buying more and I highly recommend.

I've had 6 of these for 6 months now, in regular use as my family exclusively drinks rain water, and I plan to buy more so I can survive longer in between rainfall/collection events. They are good sturdy containers and stack well, the rain water tastes just like God made it. I have not used the spigot and don't need to as these are my bulk water. I have another 7 Ga container with spigot that I use for vacations, and with all of these full I can last around 5-6 weeks. My ONLY issue with these containers is that the design does not allow you to completely empty the container after each use or cleaning. The position of both spouts/caps in relation to the "shoulders" for stacking is lower, so you can never get all of the water out. I find this highly frustrating and I end up tipping the container back and forward several times to get as much as possible out, but again it never gets empty. I suggest you consider this strongly against the "stackable" feature when considering container selection.

I bought six of these containers for water storage in my basement. They're the only storage containers for sale on Amazon for which reviewers didn't complain about leaking at the seams, which was the main reason I bought them, but they are also the perfect size to slide under the bottom shelf in my storage room. They seem VERY sturdy. I have only had them filled for about a month, but I can tell they're top quality. One great feature is that the seller, Poly Farm, included a very detailed instruction sheet. It tells about the kind of plastic the jugs are made out of, how to let them breathe before filling, and how much bleach to use when rinsing. I'm going to order six more now.

These API Kirk storage containers caught my eye when I was looking for sturdy tubs to organize the chaos in my garage and basement. Being able to stack them is huge for maximizing space. I've loaded up these 5 gallon jugs with heavy tools and supplies, stacked 6 high, and they hold up just fine without any cracks or breaks. The built-in handles make it easy for me to grab them and rearrrange things around when I'm working on projects. I dig that the lids snap on tight to keep dust and moisture out of my stuff. The spouts are pretty handy too for neatly pouring out liquids from the containers. For the price, you really can't beat these stackable tubs for basic storage needs. The only bummer is the bright blue plastic shows dirt and scuffs pretty easily over time. But I'm not looking for beauty pageant winners here - just solid, sturdy containers that can handle the abuse of my garage and hold up when stacked high.
