These scissors aren't what they're advertised to be. They are not very sharp. Their ad said they would not ""back out" of the cut due to dull or flimsy blade". This is not true. I found that when trimming fingernails (after shower while nails are soft) they pretty much tear the nails leaving a rough edge that needs to be filed. I was going to return them but was past the 30 return period. These nail scissors arrived quickly and were packaged well. The scissors come with two extras: a PVC pouch with a "zip" closure and and soft plastic cap that attaches to the end of the blades. The pouch is 6" x 3.75" and can fit some other small items in it in addition to the nail scissors. I put a couple of cotton squares and a mini nail file along with the scissors and am still able to close it. These scissors are very different than my old ones. These nail scissors have more heft and are slightly thicker than any I've owned in the past. The scissors are about 3.75" in length and the blades are slightly curved. The metal is not shiny; it is a brushed finish. I find these work on both fingernails and toenails. These scissors are much more precise than nail clippers in my opinion. I am left handed and although these are not specifically made for lefties, I haven't had any difficulty using these. In fact, because these are a little bit bigger than my old pair, I am having an easier time cutting my nails. (See picture with old scissors on left, these scissors on the right) And lastly, these scissors are a great price in comparison to other professional grade nail scissors that I've seen. I did receive these at a discount in return for an honest review but I would buy these at the regular price. Because I rely on others' reviews when shopping on Amazon, I strive to "tell it like it is" in my own reviews, regardless of whether the product was discounted or not.

I've been looking for a pair of curved end nail scissors to replace the ones I've been using for the past, ahem, 25 years. These are PERFECT!!! The picture doesn't show the curved end very well but these are terrific. Wish I bought them sooner!

The description is very misleading in that is says made fromJapanese steel. While that may be true the scissors are made in Pakistan. The description also says "Presicion. Perfectly aligned.." which is an outright lie. The handles were loose right out of the packaging and the alignment suffered as a result. I'm returning these immediately.

These suck! They stick and the tips are thick. You get what u pay for.

Although the reviews of this product were good, these scissors are absolutely HORRIBLE. They shredded my daughter's fingernails. I will be returning them!

Nope, not as google as I've expected, Leaves marks on you nails because blades are too thick.Looks elsewhere.
