Nice idea (squeeze bulb pump and low pressure gauge all-in-one) but the execution is faulty. Just got done trying the first replacement that Amazon so promptly and courteously sent and it, like the first one, does not do either function it is supposed to do - build air pressure in your sports ball and measure it. So, that is a batting average of zero for two times at the plate.The gauge either does not sense any pressure or the pressure as indicated fluctuates every time you re-insert the inflator needle in the ball. Also the inflator bulb is so flacid in construction that you often have to wait for it to resume it's shape to administer another squeeze. Then, to top that off, you can't build any pressure with the bulb. I would call the two examples I have tried as NON-FUNCTIONAL.I have some experience with this low pressure inflation and measurement task since I have for years maintained the desired pressures in my sports balls and boxing speed bags with a bulb inflator and a pencil type low pressure gauge. Now, the squeeze bulb it not the means that you want to use to inflate anything from a totally uninflated condition BUT it is a very convenient and compact method to maintain the pressure. The only thing that could be improved from what I have been doing is to incorporate a gauge directly into the process so you don't have to switch between the inflator and the gauge as you work on bringing the object to the desired pressure. Thus, when I stumbled across this combination device while looking at some other things on Amazon a little light went on in my head and I thought I would give it a try.Well, two tries is my limit on this gadget and will not be ordering another. I suggest that it won't do the job for you either!P.S. Amazon was totally faultless in this process and I only have the highest praise for their delivery and return process, it's speed and efficiency. Thanks Amazon for the effort!

I had been looking for something like this for a long time. My mom had one she got as some promotional thing, but this one is nicer (it has the bleeder valve). It fits in a small bag and is easy to use. It will still work if it gets dropped and as long as I don't let anyone pull it apart, I expect it to last a long time.Update: After using the pump for a very long time, I have only found one issue with it. Because of the design, it does not do a very good job with higher pressure balls like basketballs. I bought it mainly for use with volleyballs and have used it with a few of the cheap colorful ones you can get for kids and it has worked just like I wanted it to so I'm not complaining, but wanted if you want a basketball pump, if may not work for you.

I ordered this to top off balls because its small, is flexible, can use with one hand, and fits in my soccer bag. I read a few other reviews that said it would not pressurize the balls but ordered it anyway as others said it worked well. Initially it would not pressurize more than 3 psi. Air would leak where the hose screws into the body below the gauge. I replaced the crappy rubber o ring with some teflon tape (used to seal plumbing pipes) and now it works great. Would not recommend to fill a flat ball but great for adding a little more pressure.

This pump either doesn't work or it doesn't work nearly as fast enough as it should. It seemed to have arrived defective, because it wouldn't pump up any balls. I gave it 3 stars but only because someone else used the pump before I did, and they possibly could've misused it.

Nice little hand pump. Works well for me. I can carry in my pocket if needed during a game.

When Looking for a pump to inflate the many balls my children have, there were many choices, I even thought about using my bike pump but then what if I over inflate them or if I don't inflate them enough. I could buy a seperate gauge but that would be inserting another needle into the ball after the pump needle, then you have two devices that can go on different ways when you least expect it. why I bought it. 1.- It has a gauge, 2.- Overall size. 3.- Preassure release Valve. 4.- ballon type pump instead of the tube type pump. One more thing to think about is this type of pump seems better to inflate already inflated balls that need a few more pounds of pressure to tune it, if you are going to inflate completely deflated balls it will do it but you got to be patient. For my situation works great.

Simple and best portable pump I've had. I tried the plastic stuff and they simply don't last. This one is staying in my bag and I'm not worried that it's gonna work.
