Lip and Cheek Gel, Stain

This lip stain is superb! It is true to color on your lips and will not change color. Make sure your lips are clean of any product before applying to ensure that the color remains on your lips for the longest amount of time. I find that the product is natural looking and does not feel like you are wearing anything at all on your lips. I like to use a transparent gloss with a lip plumper added for a youthful-looking plump and luscious pout AFTER applying the stain gel. The added gloss also helps moisturize the lips yet does not feel heavy. I am very fair with very neutral skin color and like the "Liquid Kiss" color. It can be warmed up by using a orange tinted gloss or cooled down to a mauve by using a purple tinted gloss. Be aware that even a slight bit of tinted gloss deepens the color so apply sparingly until you are aware of how deep you want to go with this shade. I love all these stains by Vincent Longo!!!!

Ive been using lip/cheek stains for a long time, primarily for my cheeks. I discovered this about 5 years ago, probably more. Its my favorite one by far. The applicator and size is nice, great for travel, not big, good to store in medicine cabinet or wherever you keep your makeup. Because its a gel, it doesnt instantly stain your cheeks, like some stains do. Basically with lots of more watery stains, you need to almost fanatically rush to blend it in. With this Vincent Longo one you have a bit more time, but again, as with all stains, you need to be somewhat fast. I also love that it comes in a larger variety of colors. It last a long time as well, but not all day.

This is the best lip stain I have used to date and I've tried them all. This one lasts the longest and it doesn't dry my lips. I can add lip gloss or balm and it doesn't come off. I'm sure adding that keeps it from staying as long as it can, but this time of year I need the extra moisture on my lips and it still lasts long enough that it gets me through my work day and I can reapply for evening. I'm horrible about reapplying lipstick so this is perfect for me. I love the color because it can be somewhat natural or it can be darker depending on how much you apply. I'll buy this product again and again.

I, like some of the other women, have tried many lip stains - semi-permanent lipsticks. This gel stain by V. Longo is by far the best I have ever tried!!! It doesn't bleed / feather. It does dry your lips out just a bit but NOTHING like the other brands. Once you put lip gloss over the lip stain, the dryness is instantly cured. LUV IT - thank you all for your postings - which is the reason I tried yet one more lip stain in hope of finding the "one".....and, I DID! The search is over *-* Cupid's Bow is a great light color - you can layer it to get a richer color if desired. It is a natural looking stain with a hint of pink and maybe a spec of peach....

I have used many lip stains, from more inexpensive drug store brands to high end lip stains. NO lip stains actually works like this. I apply Longo's Baby Boo lips stain in the morning and my lips maintain the color the entire day. I literally do not have to reapply. You can lighten the color by applying it w your finger or make it more intense by applying it from the applicator. When i want a natural pop of color I use Baby Boo alone with some chapstick (after it fully dries) or I can jazz it up with lip liner and lip stick over it. Does not dry out the lips. It is my main makeup staple. I would be devastated if they discontinued it!

This is my go-to lip product and has been for years - it's pretty much the only lip colour I wear, because I can't stand lipsticks that wear off. But it's been getting harder and harder to find, so much so that I thought it might be gone forever... thankfully, I was wrong! I don't agree with some other reviewers saying that the formulation is different, it still goes on like ink and stays put for hours and hours... the color is maybe a half-step brighter than I remember but you can control that by applying less (for a more neutral tone) or double (to amp up the red.) I'm so relieved to have found it again, I'll be ordering more just in case it disappears again!

I'm not an experienced lip stick wearer which is why i decided to go with a lip stain when i needed one for a holiday party. i got Liquid Kiss and it was a pretty dark red with just 2 coats. i think it's a bit too dark for casual wear unless you can get it on perfect with just one coat. i like that the color sets quickly and lasts a few hours as long as you don't eat anything or rub your mouth too much. it also doesn't stain your teeth so you can wear it worry free! if you have even slightly peely skin on your lips, those peely parts WILL look extra dark. one thing i'm sad about is that i had the lip stain in a clutch bag for about 4 hours and by the end of the night, the container somehow cracker near the opening! i don't remember sitting on my bag or anything, so it seems like it might be a fragile container. now i can't carry it around with me. i have to put it on in the morning and deal with the fact that after lunch the color won't really be there anymore. i still want to get this in My Sunshine tho :P

Awesome product... really. At first it seemed a bit thin & runny, but after a few uses the color application went on my lips very smoothly. Maybe it dried slightly and the color got thicker and more saturated? Not sure, but in any case, after using it for a while I became very satisfied with how the color looked on my lips. The color lasts a long time too. Just be sure you don't put it on lips that are peeling b/c it will stain the dry, peeling skin first. So exfoliate your lips before applying and you'll be fine.
