Fluid Film FFSG Spray Gun Applicator Kit

I am a mechanic who worked at a shop for two years that used a general pneumatic spray gun for their undercoating service. The process was highly messy since the oil would atomize into the shop air like crazy. We would go through 3-5 bottles for one vehicle normally. I thought this was normal. I have since left that shop and perform my own services mobily. I bought this kit to provide oil undercoating to my customers. I am amazed at the difference! I used only one bottle on a complete vehicle undercoating (2021 Subaru Ascent). This gun is highly efficient and barely atomized oil into the air at all...the difference was night and day. I can tell this sprayer is designed to handle the thick undercoating oil mixture. This kit also comes with two different hose attachments. One for direct spraying deeper or recessed areas and the other is 360° wand for inside frame rails (internal coating). I think the value for price ratio is excellent! I highly recommend this kit if you are looking to perform your own vehicle oil undercoating or are a shop looking to provide such a service.

I was debating buying a cheaper gun for spraying FluidFilm on my Tacoma. I'm glad I went with this one. It worked fantastic. I snapped one of those gallon pour spouts on my can of FluidFilm and filled the bottle. The gun worked flawlessly, easily spraying just the right amount out at pretty much any angle. I was able to cover the entire undercarriage with only about half of the gallon can (about two bottles full on this gun). That will leave me the other half for next year. Easily cleaned it all up with so hot, soapy water. It didn't waste any, and did not make a mess at all. Overall super glad I purchased the right tool.

This thing works great. You adjust the sprayer by tightening or loosening the gun hose attachment. I used 90psi on my air compressor regulator. No need to thin the Fluid Film.

Worked great once I figured out how to use it. Saved money by purchasing this gun and doing it myself.

I bought this because it's specifically designed to work with fluid film. In that regard I have no complaints. It worked quite well spraying the product. I do have some tips about using it that I wish I had known before hand. 1. The narrow neck of the bottle is annoying, but if you cut the top off a 2 liter bottle, that makes a perfect funnel. The fluid film will flow through it. It's a bit slow but I was able to fill the canister from the 1 gallon paint can it comes in in a minute or 2. 2. Make sure you have a ton of rags handy, as big globs of fluid film will get everywhere. Like 2 or 3 old t-shirts at least. 3. My tiny 0.9cfm mini compressor could not keep up with this gun. It blows out a LOT of air along with the fluid film. I had to lug out my 5cfm compressor and that worked well. 4. And this is the most important, DO NOT kink the extension hose. It's easy to do while working under a car on jacks. If you do, the air will flow back into the reservoir and instantly blast half the canister contents out as a high pressure jet. great product hardly any waste if set it correctly just did a colorado entire underneath and in rockers and inside all the frame with under a gallon of fluid film didn't have any overspray on vehicle or floor of my garage don't waste your money on other guns that let you waste as much as you put on

Spray gun works awesome. I had the best results shooting around 60psi. The extended spray wands are made of basically regular polyflow tube, so be careful you don't accidently bend/pinch them while scooting under your vehicle or the bottle will pressurize and blast oil out the top vents. It tastes bad. If you have a proper lift to get the vehicle above your head with ample room to work this wouldn't be an issue at all. Anyways for the at home DIY guy like myself just expect a big mess where you fill the bottle from the cans. Unlike the rattle cans of FF the gun atomizes the oil so well, there is very little mess under the vehicle where you actually spray your vehicle, and it makes the oil stick so well I had absolutely no oil drip off the truck. I can't believe I didn't upgrade to the gun over using rattle cans every season sooner. Both the extension wands and the regular spray nozzle have flow adjustments for the amount of oil you are spraying, this is critical and one of the big things that separate this unit from the $30-$40 cheap guns you see on the 'zon.
