E Guittard Cocoa Powder, Unsweetened Rouge Red Dutch Process Cocoa, 8oz Can

You may love this to make a hot chocolate drink. I put two tablespoons in one mug full of whole milk plus two packets of stevia and a little manuka honey. I just heated it all in a saucepan and the cocoa powder blended right in making a very smooth hot chocolate. The brownies I made came out well too and were a rich chocolaty flavor. I've tried a lot of cocoa powders in my lifetime and this is one of the best. I immediately told everyone about it who I think deserves to know! So don't keep this a secret! OK just tell a few people and save some for me! As I'm writing this it is hot chocolate day! You may also love this to make an incredible mocha! *Follow-up: I spoke and emailed with Guittard and they were able to confirm that the product I received was authentic— it didn’t taste as good as the previous batch so quality control will be looking into it. I recommend anyone having quality issues with the product to contact the company directly. I recommend ordering directly from the Guittard site instead of Amazon- besides being less expensive (as of now, it’s $9.99 on the Guittard site), you will be receiving an authenticated product. I am not changing my star rating because I don’t want to damage the brand (I don’t believe it’s their fault) but *[Amazon fraud squad needs to look into this. )Third party sellers need to have their products vetted more thoroughly.]*The flavor and aroma are exquisite. It is such a fine powder that it dissolves smoothly. Absolute perfection!

Truly the gold standard when it comes to baking. The red hue to the cocoa powder and the unmistakable fragrance both add depth to anything you make. It is extremely fine when you handle it, so beware. When it comes to baking, I need all the help I can get so this is the chocolate for me!

Fast delivery, lovely packaging, rich bouquet of flavor. In the region where I live most unsweetened cocoas have been unavailable usually several other top brands. So I went to Amazon searching for a good buy on something new, and this morning I had my first wonderful cup of coffee with a little bit of real maple syrup and, some of this fantastic, unsweetened chocolate. I like the size of the can and the packaging It stores neatly in my cupboard. I will buy it again I bought two cans to start with. I am extremely impressed with the manufacturer and taste of this fine product

Ok maybe I should have known the rouge means red, just looked fancy but now I am the proud owner of red cocoa powder! Looks good, too bad I don’t love red velvet cake.
