Worked exactly how I wanted. I like aftermarket radios but I don't like cutting factory harnesses Incase me or someone else wants to plug and play a factory radio. For the price you pay for one of these it's not worth it to ruin a good harness. If you're thinking about it just get it

There were a couple of things I appreciated about this adapter. 1) The plastic end of the harness fit correctly with the three separate harness pieces of the OEM radio and was even grooved in such a way that you couldn't mess it up. 2) The color coding of the wires was identical to the color coding of the new Pioneer radio. Some of the wires (power) were pre-stripped. The rest of the wires required a tool to remove some insulation before connecting.

Made install so much simpler

Main adaptor fit my 85 DeVille. The power adapter didn't, but I made due.

Works great. Leads pre cut which is nice. My truck didnt have the yellow wire and I tied the yellow ign wire into the power. It does turn off with truck key still but doesnt remember any features. Not sure if this is harness fault or radio (or wiring).

Fit perfectly and allowed a new radio without having to cut and splice the factory wiring.

It does not fit an 89 Camaro/ Firebird. You need the one for 1990
