*please read!*I'm super new to doing nails and I love this kit! It's good for beginners because of how easy it is to use I also loved the packaging. I bought a cheaper set to practice with first incase I mess up (I messed up a lot a day thats absolutely okay!) The plastic dual forms were just a little too wide at the cuticle so I filed it a little bit. This kit does not come with a lamp or slip solution, for the slip solution you should use no more than 70% rubbing alcohol I had 90% and had to find a perfect ratio of rubbing alcohol and water once I found the perfect solution I put it into an empty slip solution bottle! If you constantly come out with thick nails getting an electric file will work to help get thinner nail edges and thin out around the cuticle to look more natural but before you do any filing you must wipe your nails first 👏🏼 or else you will get sticky residue on the file you're using. I prefer the dual forms (the plastic ones) because you get a more even apex on all your nails it will take me some time to get used to the nail forms(the sticker ones) a tip for those is to take the sticker you have to punch out and put it on the inside of where your going to build your nail so you have more support! To take off this polygel you can soak your nails in acetone for about 10-15 minutes and then scrape them off or if your impatient like me sometimes you can file them off but be careful not to file off your base coat if you're using an electric file because it might hurt your nail bed! If you're nails aren't lasting that long you should prep your nails by buffing your natural nail bed and using a dehydrator or rubbing alcohol maybe even acetone and let it dry before you apply your primer and/or base coat, I personally don't own a primer but I get away with just a base coat. Another tip for the rhinestones I found is using a toothpick and dipping it in the top coat and then putting it on your nail where you will be placing the rhinestone and then curing it for 30 seconds sometimes I press the rhinestone down with a wax pencil to make sure it stays, of course you'll want to add the rhine stones after already applying the top coat and curing it already and then do the trick I just talked about. You don't want to put the top coat over the rhinestones because it'll be hard to take off and it'll probably look weird or blurry. To take rhinestones off you can use an old pair of cuticle clippers and save them. If your nails don't glow much after putting topcoat on, it might be that you've put too much top coat on you don't need a lot and you don't need multiple layers of it because it can dim down the glowing effects I've learned that the hard way. And last thing is apply your top coat on the nail edges and underneath your nail so the polygel color stays longer! Also if you paint your nails do it after your top coat if you mess up or don't like the color you can use REGULAR nail polish remover because it won't harm your hard work you've done (acetone can break up some polygel and I found with this kit it does) I love doing that if I'm not using rhinestones so I can switch up some colors whenever I want. When I decided to start doing my own nails my research led me to polygel..I had no idea what a good polygel would be good so I'd ordered the cheapest one I could find and was very disappointed. The polygel did work like I'd seen in YouTube videos.So I joined a few nail pages on fb and narrowed down my choice in polygel to the SXC brand. And boy I was surprised how much better it was to work with! I love the colors and how to stays where you put it.It was a gam changer for me. I was ready to toss in the towel and call it quits. But I decided to give ot one more chance and that's when I ordered this brand. It's a much firmer polygel which, to me, makes it easier to apply.I recommend this brand for beginners. I also love the rhinestones that came in the kit and the brush. I use the base for a slip solution. I find it works best.

Like many, my nails were overdue for some salon TLC but alas, the salons were closed due to COVID-19. WHAT'S A GIRL TO DO?? I strolled the nail care aisles of the grocery & drug stores looking for anything to do my nails with, to no avail...no tips, no kits...NADA! I had seen previous ads for PolyGel nail kits but had quickly dismissed them as TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE. Desperation took over....I scrolled though several kits before finding this kit and thought, WHY NOT? Worst case scenario, it'll be something else that lives under my sink in the pit of beauty despair. The kit arrived with everything as pictured. I watched a few YouTube videos to get a feel for how to proceed..it all looked SO EASY! I was hesitant but also excited to try. It took me about 2 hours to finish the 1st set & was SHOCKED to see these lovely nails I had created. I would AND HAVE recommended this product and will buy it again and again and AGAIN! (I used NON acetone Nail Polish remover as the slip solution and it worked great! You can also file down and shape the DUAL FORMS before applying the polygel if you prefer coffin or stilletto style nails).

I never write a review but please read!!!!My main purpose of buying this set was to have my nails done the way I wanted and not having to risk someone mess them up again when I pay usually $50-80 to have them done.However, I purchased this set along with the butterfly set that they have (less than a total of $90 including taxes) and I must say I am not disappointed at all! Both sets came in beautiful packaging, simple, yet unique to the set you buy. Instructions are super clear and simple and the nails feel super sturdy. I did this by myself as a first timer and I spent about an hour and a half which is around or less than the time I spend in a nail salon.I had these on for about two hours now and I have honestly tried to push these back multiple times to see if they would loosen up or pop off but they are not budging at all!I am so impressed by these products that I’m going to buy the other collections really soon they are already sitting in my cart!

I got my package today!! So far I am very pleased with my purchase. I love the fact that the poly gel bottles are 30 g which also equal 30 mL. In another package that I received from another company the tubes were 15mL and about half of the bottle was full with product and the other half just air and I was very disappointed. The only thing that I actually really liked about the other companies package was the fact that it came with a LED light that was the only upside. I’m hoping that with this new product from this company I will be able to get better results. I also like the fact that it came with a tip booklet and not just a step-by-step guide of how to apply the nails. This set seems as though its setting you up for success. Overall I am happy and I can’t wait to try it out.
