I live in a 1970s two-story brick house with plaster walls that eat WiFi for breakfast. My old ASUS router + extender setup left me with zero bars in the master bedroom, garage, and back patio. After fighting it for years, I grabbed this Deco S4 3-pack on a Prime Day deal for $119 and it’s been flawless for the last 14 months. Already convinced three neighbors and my parents to ditch their old routers for the exact same kit. 10/10 – best money I’ve ever spent on networking. My WiFi problems are officially dead and buried.

I bought this because I was having issues with my wifi being slow and constantly buffering from all the devices I have and it fixed my connection problems it's no longer slow and it was really easy to set up and I have good coverage all around the inside and outside of the house.

Well, I've went back and forth for about a year now about setting up a mesh network in my home. Currently I run 3, so this would in a sense replace one. I like keeping certain aspects separate... security cameras, and system are on a dedicated network. Tvs, computers, laptops, tablets, and cell phones are on one, and then I start sounding like I have more money than I really do, so I'll just stop there... I decided to buy a mesh network to replace my security system network because I was having tons of issues with my outside security cameras having horrible signal strength which made it pretty much useless. Before this, I bought a CPE Booster, and honestly I had and have zero idea what exactly I was doing, needed to do, or was doing wrong. Long story short, I worked alot of Overtime, and literally within 5 minutes of my check hitting my bank account, I had this ordered. It was SAME DAY DELIVERY.... WOW. Unfortunately I was working several hours away at a prison job that is going so bad, you would think it was being performed in a prison..... wait... it was. After the extensively long work week, and driving several hours home, after working 10 hours that day already, all I wanted to do when I got home, was get this bad boy setup and configured... so the next morning when I woke up (lol), I immediately got to work... the app is extremely seamless to use. Theres not very much that I'd change. Setup was very intuitive and straightforward. I bought the 3 pack because honestly, a 2 pack would have worked for my small house, but I needed to get the signal outside to my garage that is anything but right next to my closest wall. I bought the 3 pack hoping I could intact put one of the units on the closest wall to the garage to get adequate signal. Thats exactly what happened,, and its been working great.. i have although noticed that my front door camera seems to have randomly dropped off of the client list on the app. Upon checking the camera. I find that its not connected. This has only happened once that was without a reasonable explanation... hopefully it was an anomaly. This has been perfect. Literally perfect. My cameras stream comes up within a couple seconds, and I can talk clearly to the person on the other side. Honestly, we are looking to be upgrading our home within the next year, and I can't wait to outfit it with another tplink mesh system... for the price point, you cannot go wrong. I want to add that I was in the corporate I.T. industry for 8 years... so quality in technology is a huge part of my decision processes when choosing what to buy. I've bought TP-link products in the past, but honestly I tend to give more of my hardware away than I use... this is the first product that I've actually dove deep into... I will be returning for my hardware networking needs in the future.

Fué sencillo de instalar, me tardé aproximadamente 1 hora en todo el setup, los equipos se conectaron rápidamente, incluso la impresora wifi con conexión wps fué sencilla de configurar y trabaja muy bien. Equipo excelente en el área de oficina apenas me llegaban 8-9 Mbps (con un repetidor) ahora tengo de 90-100 Mbps, mi computadora principal (una viejita Asus de 2012) a cada rato se caía el wifi y ahora está estable, también pude configurar mi streaming de música desde la oficina hasta la sala dónde se encuentra el Deco router y trabaja muy bien sin cortes.

Tenía problemas no solo con la extensión de la señal Wi-fi sino que era inestable y mientras más lejos del módem principal, más lento se hacía, además de que solo me permitía conectar a red de 2.4hz, Intente con repetidores baratos que solucionaban espacios muertos pero no velocidad pues disminuía notablemente además de que tenia que escoger la red manualmente, no solo eso, además había problemas con el resto de dispositivos por conflictos de direcciones IP, en fin era un fastidio, ahora con los Deco solo deje esa red y en toda la casa hay señal intensa, estable y se nota sobremanera con los dispositivos que se pueden conectar a la red 5g la red es más rápida que con el router nativo (al máximo de banda ancha de mi proveedor, no más) , es una solución casi perfecta. Llevo una semana con ellos. ACTUALIZACIÓN NUEVE MESES DESPUÉS, la mejor compra que he hecho en definitiva, mi red rápida y estable como el primer día de configurar.
