My Magic Ingredient
I'm 28 and have struggled with moderate persistent acne since I was a teenager. I've tried many, many different brands and types of treatment, from Proactiv to Neutrogena Skin ID and Active Naturals to Mary Kay and Biore and Clean&Clear, to home remedies, epsom salt, regular old soap, salycilic acid peels, masks, toners, just leaving my skin alone... Basically I had nothing to lose by trying these too. And I've been so surprised.I've been using these pads for about 4 months now and the improvement in my skin is amazing. Is it perfect? No, but I would say it's like 90% better than it used to be. I still get a zit here and there but they just don't last like they used to and they don't multiply. This is just one of the 3 cleansing/treatment products I use in my routine that finally seems to be working, but I think it's the most vital.I use them once a day at night after showering and washing/exfoliating my skin with African Black Soap. They can REALLY sting if you have inflamed/irritated areas on your face, but it passes after a few seconds and it's so worth the discomfort. The smell is very strong but it's pleasant enough. And for me, they seem to rebalance my skin after the slightly drying effect of the black soap. There's no flaking afterwards, and when I wake up in the morning my skin feels smooth and hydrated.I'm able to wear less and less foundation (which finding the right foundation that wouldn't break me out was half the battle I think. I had read that mineral makeup is healthier for the skin but powder foundations just don't work for me so I've been using a liquid mineral foundation glominerals gloProtective Liquid Foundation - Satin II 1.4 oz. that seems to keep my skin happy.)My skin looks and feels healthier. Something in them also helps to fade acne marks quickly. I was having a rough time around my jaw line for a few months before I started using these, but now in that same area there's no discoloration, no monsters lurking; just clear skin. They are definitely worth trying at the very least.

Strong scent but totally worth it
Peter Thomas Roth face pads work really well to cleanse and refresh my skin, but the alcohol and peach scent is quite strong and might not be for everyone. If you don’t mind the smell, they’re a great option for a deep clean.

Magic in a Bottle! This stuff works!
My wife's review-This is amazing! After having our 4th child my skin was all out of sorts and no amount of Dermatologist prescribed medications or ointments made a difference. I've tried it all, differen, retin a, and every new cream on the market- and nothing worked. I tried ACNE,Org, Proactive, nada. I had given up hope that the tiny bumps beneath the skin would go away and as a last ditched effort I purchased these on May 10th.Since then my skin hasn't looked this good since my mid twenties! As other reviewers state I cut these in 2 and 1/2 half is perfect enough to use in the morning while I use the other half in the evening before I go to bed. Since I've used retin a before I knew my skin would tolerate this product well. I am surprised at how well my skin reacted to it. Within a few days my skin was clearer, brighter and more even. There is a strong Bellini smell to it, but it goes away after it settles and I honestly don't mind it at all.I went from full coverage MAC foundation to Bare Minerals new serum foundation or Physicians Formula Spotless foundation which are both light coverage foundations. I need a spot of concealer for my old scars, but no more full coverage for this mama!My scars are slowly fading- i believe with continued use they'll be gone in no time.I use the Salicylic acid face wash at the end of my day after using Cetephil's makeup remover wipes to remove all traces of makeup. 3 times a week I wash with my clarisonic Mia for a deeper cleaning.. and I use these wipes 2x a day. Again- give it a try- this has really helped to even out my skin tone, clear up my complexion and I haven't had a breakout since I started using it. If i do get a pimple- its usually because of TTOTM, but they go away within 24 hrs and don't leave a scar.

My favorite skin product: Not for the faint of heart but definitely gets the job done.
These things are fabulous - I swear by them and recommend them to all my friends. That said - they are strong, maybe even "caustic" would be a good word to describe these pads. I don't consider my skin to be "sensitive" but if I did I'm not sure I would like these so much.Anyway, I use them at night (ever few days) after washing my face with a gentle cleanser and in the morning my skin so SO SMOOTH. They really tighten up your skin, remove any little bumps, even your skin tone and make your skin look bright bc they like slough off dead skin. I am in my late 20s so don't have significant wrinkles (just to give you a bit of perspective) but any little thing that I am fixated on is easily gone by the morning with these things.I came across these pads bc I was researching Proactiv and trying to figure out what made Proactiv work so well. It turns out it is the combination of salicylic acid and glycolic acid in Proactive that gently clears your skin up over time. This product is one of the rare few that contains both these ingredients and in a pretty high dosage hence the overnight results. One review I read said that they cut the pads in half and use half here and there (since they are both $$ and pack a lot of punch an entire one seems almost unnecessary). If you have sensitive skin you could try that route and also maybe just use on occasion? Honestly if these were a bit less expensive I'd use them every night.
