Very good eorkbook

I am using this book to tutor my son and I like the flow, explanations and examples. I would prefer a few more final review questions but the existing ones are good enough.I was going to give this a 5 star until I saw this error. I am including the picture of the example with error so the author can address it and qualify and earn the 5th star. The second example if the page has the wrong answer. As the author explain himself, this force should be smaller than the weight but the answer is higher than the weight. It is obviously a small mistake but confused my student.I also saw another error in Page 188 that author explains that our body expands in summer because of higher temperature and that is why we often feel that our clothing is tighter in Summer. This can not be correct as human is warm blooded specious and have the same body temperature throughout the year. The explanation why we gain weight is summer and loose in winter goes back to biology. In winter our body should have higher metabolism to keep you warm so you burn more calorie and store less fat in your body.

Bought it for a Christmas present. Yes, that’s not a typo. It’s his book of choice when he comes to Nana’s house.🤷🏻‍♀️ Will read for a couple hours if I don’t make him get up and go play!

Highly recommend this book! I have only read about 30 pages so far but, this book is really good, at the end of each chapter there is a QR code to scan on your flashcard app and it quizzes you. In conclusion this is a very good book especially if your are new/newer to physics. It also has chapters for people who already know the basics.

Good source in general. Balanced difficulty level for my 11 year-old. Helpful and challenging.Typo on page 47, line 6: F (sub f) = F (sub T) . (not =) cos (theta). There may be others, just an example.On same page, second example, please stick to standard coordinate plane notation of X, Y. Using parallel and perpendicular symbols for subscripts is not standard and will be confusing for a kid still learning how to use subscripts properly.Update 7-18-21: error page 48, elevator problem. "a" should be negative according to your chosen positive to be upward. Your force tension came out to be larger than weight. doesn't make sense.

Easy to read. Covered the physics concepts in an easy way with good examples that explained the math and technical stuff. But what I really liked was all the real world connections that brought the content to life. I know this makes me a nerd... but it was just fun to read. Good stuff!

Should be great backup aide for those going to take college physics.

It is great book that covers all physics theory and hands and n learning for high school student very knowledgeable.
