The cup is hard to close and it leaks.

Extremely poor value for a travel mug!
This is not the worst travel mug I've used but it is the worst value mug! I'm on the road a lot and have failed to find a travel mug that keeps drinks hot and dispenses a drink without pouring hot liquid down my front or into my lap. I thought this was it however, the thermal properties of this mug are extremely poor even with the lid closed drinks go cold very quickly and the spill proof lid snaps shut when the mug is tilted up to drain the last of your drink. The cleverly designed lid does allow you to drink from any point around the rim but once open it cannot be shut without removing the screw on lid allowing even more heat to escape. The fact that this product is comparatively expensive makes the disappointment even greater, poor, poor, poor!

The top does not screw on easily, there's really nothing groundbreaking about the design
This is a really cheap, really flimsy plastic cup--roughly the same quality as you'd get when you buy a soda at the movies or a 7-11 fountain drink. The top does not screw on easily, there's really nothing groundbreaking about the design, and I'm guessing hot beverages leech pcbs or some other equally toxic chemical from the plastic (who still uses plastic (?!). The only saving grace is that the cup only holds 16 ounces of liquid or so, which limits the amount of plastic-chemicals you're ingesting. The most impressive aspect of this product is the marketing (which I totally bought) and the seller's ability to charge $40.00 with (presumably) a straight face. Don't waste your money.
