For years I've hidden a key under a flower pot in case I lose my key whilst out dog walking etc. This seems a much easier and more secure solution. No more scrabbling around in the dark or under the snow whilst holding on to the dog. It is easy to fit if you can handle a drill and screwdriver and decent illustrated instructions are provided. It is easier to set and test your own 4 digit security code before screwing it to the wall but I think that this could be changed easily whilst in place. It looks and feels very strong and secure Even if someone broke it away from the wall they could not gain access without the code. It might indicate to passing low-life that you might have something to guard but who hasn't? It is supplied with two keys that by-pass the security code so that you can reset it, if you forget it. It could also be useful to allow access to trusted visitors who don't have your key or for emergency services if you are incapacitated, for example. The numbers are clear but I find them difficult to read at night so I fixed up an LED lamp (by Auraglow via Amazon) to a nearby post to illuminate them.

Had this up a few months now. Not had any issues at all, reasonably easy to install. Super easy to open, our 9 year old uses it frequently.I definitely feel comfortable leaving a house key in this. It feels like a nice high quality product and is great value for money.

Bought this for my mother. It's a really good, solid key safe with a back up key for if the release number is forgotten. Easy to install with a drill, & enough room inside for two keys. Only deducted a star because the number dials are small & not easy to read & quite stiff, which makes it almost impossible for my mother, who is frail, to use. It's fine for those who are able-bodied with good eyesight though.

Fast delivery, great price very sturdy and easy to fit key safe. I have one in UK and one at my property in Spain, I’m confident no one but me or someone I give the code to is going to access the keys inside

This is a very solid box, I've had it up for over a year and it's stayed put. There hasn't been any water ingress at all. I put a small plastic washer (not supplied) to protect from rain and it's worked perfectly.I did have an issue at one point when the turn knob (not the dials) got badly stuck and needed some WD40 and persuasion to loosen up. If it's not being used regularly I'd recommend testing and spraying if needed, at least every couple of months.

This is a fantastic key safe, loads of space for keys, easy to install, easy to operate if you are familiar with the instructions. 5*Drawback.I purchased this keysafe because we had carer's coming into our home to assist my mother-in-law who had suffered major heart attacks and required assistance with washing and dressing.Carer's are used to the more simple push button key safe.Over 17 days only 1 carer locked the keysafe correctly, the others I had to educate at the time of their visit as to how to use it correctly.34 Visits, 1 occasion the keysafe was locked correctly.The remainder of the time the inner door was pushed shut, the numerical dials were changed to a random number and the outer door was shut. Everything was shut, nothing was locked.Carer's didn't recognise the need to turn the barrel at the top of the key safe.My house keys were available to anyone and everyone as the keysafe was not locked.Despite my raising this with the appointed care agency carer's didn't get it.Consider carefully the application of this keysafe before purchase / installation.Sadly a brilliant design but not fool proof.
