Mexican Barbie

Loved the doll. My daughter is planning on dressing exactly as her Mexican Barbie this year for Halloween. She wants to make sure she wins the Best Costume award. Also, the seller was very generous by wrapping the Barbie in gift wrap. Made the delivery extra special. Thank you so much!

Mexican Barbie was a white doll and I was expecting a light brown Barbie. She was dressed in a Mexican dress. And will be given to a Mexican child.

I bought this doll for a 13 year old girl in Guatemala, after hearing from acquaintances who had traveled in Latin America that there was a shortage of non-blonde dolls in that country. I wanted the Guatemalan girl I'm sponsoring to have a doll that looks like her. Luckily I found the Barbie dolls of the world collection.The package arrived two days before the earliest stated "to expect" date. The doll appears, as the seller stated, to be in excellent condition. Its hair is still braided, the dress perfect. The doll was loose in the box, as I was told to expect, so the shoes have fallen off, but that is easily fixed. (I am not certain whether there is a doll hairbrush included; I noticed the shoes upon closer examination.) I am pleased with the condition and timeliness of the order. My only suggestion would be that the seller state whether or not the accessories are included (that information was not given).I did not click on "how much fun is this toy" because I will not be the one playing with this toy, so I don't know how much fun she thinks it'll be, etc. I give it four stars for educational because it shows an example of traditional and ethnic, but withhold one star because, like all Barbies, it has an unrealistically thin body shape and has Caucasian facial shape despite representing a non-Caucasian ethnicity. In general, I would like to see more ethnic dolls with realistic bodies that aren't prohibitively expensive, but that's not the fault of the seller.
