Work well especially when starting a new tank up. Can be used in H.O.B. filter just later them over the bio filter.. good price make sure to rinse im bowl of tank water or will make water cloudy.

The media could not be loaded. So easy to replace all the filters in the pump. They keep the water clear instead of green. They fit perfectly in my pump and I change them out 2 times a year. Great product. I like the name brand ones better than the off brand. You definitely get what you pay for. Would recommend

I have two pretty big red eared sliders and I was struggling to keep the ammonia levels reasonable. I really only bought these because I thought it would make things a little better while I figure something else out. But no. This is all you need, even for filthy turtles.
