101 Most Popular Excel Formulas (101 Excel Series) Paperback – Large Print, October 22, 2019

The title of the book is Excel Formulas, but it's really about all the amazing built-in functions that Excel has or virtually anything you can think of. I haven't counted whether this book has exactly 101 functions, but it certainly seems to cover them all. The pages are big and the explanations thorough.I really like the layout. The functions are grouped logically, and for each function it gives the syntax, and then builds formulas showing how they work in practice using different data. This allows the reader to pick an area, like text functions, and just survey them all. Then later, when you want to do something with text functions, you can go to the section and (presumably) find the one you're looking for and be reminded how it works.

If you are not an Excel guru, this is the book for you. I've used this several times over since I'm working remotely. I was able to quickly put a few formulas together and make data more meaningful. It is a quicker reference than googling formulas or having to watch Youtube videos to try and learn quickly.

Great for anyone that needs a little help here and there. A few things not in it that would be useful , very useful and basic. Not disappointed with this one, will keep it handy.

Excell is in process to keep track of checking. I need to keep eye on checks, atm’s, & deposit. Basic to now how you are.

Good book for beginners

Pros:The idea of this book is great. The cover quality is very nice. The pages are a nice weight. The binding should hold. It lists formulas. The book is semi-explanative...at first...but as it progresses you see...Cons:...minimal incomplete irrelevant sentences.Syntax and examples are low quality, very faded in spots (undoubtedly due to the original was in color) cut and paste clips.A previous top reviewer states this gears toward educating the novice. This was very misleading. Must be a family friend. It is a convenient list. I recommend looking at pictures uploaded from other reviews. Make sure it is what you want before buying.Update:...after noticing previous photo reviews were no longer available, I uploaded some of my own.Note:...while page numbers are the same as other reviewers the quality & clarity is not....also note it appears page 237 from a 5 star reviewer is not from the same book.....my third photo is just an example of what you'll be receiving.

This book is amazing! I have often searched online for formulas to help with a task and sometimes was still confused as to how the formula worked. Now, I am able to use this book to provide not only the formula, but also what the parameters of the formula do as well as examples of how the formula works. It also provides downloadable workbooks for me to practice using formulas on! It is great to have so many useful formulas in one place and the ability to access them while offline.

Worth the money I spend. I was able to get a refresher on new excel functions and be able to complete my worksheet fairly easy by using a new function, I did not was available.
