My wife bought this for me (us) as we have purchased several off the shelf headlamps and have been anywhere from satisfied (with exception of the endless battery replacement) to extremely unhappy. Even the best of the models purchased through the box stores pales in comparison to this one.Fit: While ALMOST too snug for my size 8 head it fits securely and more importantly is comfortable. The battery pack on the back is balanced nicely with the lamp assembly and the cushion mount in the back both secures the strap to your head and is very comfortable. My wife can size it down to fit her as well since the straps are adjustable.Brightness: This is the brightest headlamp I've seen, period. You will not be disappointed.Power source: Using 18650 batteries means not only can you use the device for longer but you can maintain a stock of charges batteries and only rarely purchase new ones. This will be significantly cheaper than any other headlight you've owned.I have not tested the waterproof feature, nor do I run with it on. I have yet to be chased however the next time I am pursued while wearing the headlamp I will return to update my review. If I return...Overall, you cannot go wrong with this headlamp.UPDATE: I stand corrected. Of two lights, one has failed at 12 months of ownership and I cannot locate warranty information or even any contact info for the manufacturer. So much for trusting a claim of "Lifetime Warranty". Caveat Emptor

This headlamp is bright. There are 2 separate buttons which control 8 working modes including an SOS strobe, a red beam, and an SOS red strobe. There is a brightness level for a wide variety of needs. The headlamp component has a tilting function with 4 different settings. I purchased this product for use primarily when we lose electricity, and I did a few tests with results that really impressed me. In a walk in closet at night in a pitch black environment I tested it to see if I could read a book comfortably if I chose to do that. Wow, it works perfectly for that use. I also tried all the light settings and again the results were very impressive. Wanting to see how the unit would perform in a much larger area in very dark conditions, I performed a test in the early morning in my kitchen/family open space and the entire area was illuminated! This is an excellent piece of equipment. The USB charging options were a very important feature that I required in making a headlamp purchase. A very nice case of excellent quality is included as well.There are only a couple of negatives. The small User Instruction pamphlet included in the package leaves a lot to be desired. In fact it actually contains incorrect information; namely, it shows a picture of the rear of the battery case and states that it is a Charging Indicator. The illustration which is displayed in the description on Amazon correctly states that this is in fact a Rear Safety Light, not a Charging Indicator. I have copied and printed the Amazon description and photos to save with the unit as it is a much better option than the pamphlet. The headband is not the most comfortable but it is definitely not a deal breaker. I bought one of these headlamps for my wife as well and she did not find the headband to be of any consequence at all.I have only had this unit for a short period so I do not know how it will hold up over time. Judging by it's excellent quality and high level of performance I have no reason to believe that it will not pass the test of time. I will post future updates if something changes. The bottom line is that if you are looking for a high quality device at a really good price point, I would strongly suggest that you give this item a serious look comparing it to others that are on the market.

Delivery with in 24 hours of ordering. Packaged nicely, once opened the headlamp was in a sealed clear bag. Nice hard shell clam case with a hook for back pack or belt loop. Everything included that was noted when ordering.concise instructions. Once batteries were installed I did not have to charge the batteries to test it out. That was nice. Provided are two pictures for brightness and strobe. I live in the country and this will be good to use when I feed the outside pets and fishing. It was also bought in mind for my summer vacation to the Rocky Mountains. Added feature is a rear safety light. It fits comfortable and can be adjusted. I have had 6 other headlamps and this is the best design. Price is affordable plus sellers page is excellent with detail and diagrams.

When you first look at the headlamp, you will likely be tempted to adjust the band that fits on your head. Wait until you try it on to do this. I adjusted it before I put it on and it actually needed no adjusting. It would have fit perfectly if I had just left it alone.This headlamp is impressive. The lighting is nothing short of amazing for such a small unit and it has a few different lighting modes that you can read about in the description. The lamp unit can be adjusted. It comes with a very nice hardshell case that holds the charging cord and headlamp. The instructions state that it takes 5 hours to charge so be prepared to be patient and let it charge. There's a small light on the charging unit that will turn from red to green when the charging is complete which is very helpful. The batteries are huge! If these ever run out, I'm not sure where addtional batteries like these would be purchased. I shouldn't have to worry about this for a very long time.I love this headlamp and think it would make a great gift for just about anyone. It's awesome! Literally one of those handy dandy tools that you don't realize you need until you have one. :-)

Bright which is good.No indication of battery life so no idea when it starts to get dim.I would say I have a medium size head and it’s extremely tight on me. If you have a small head I’d say you’ll be happy with the light. If you have a large head don’t buy it. It’s fully extended and tight as hell on me.*Update* At most two months old and stitching has come apart. Will try and fix but shouldn’t have to on a new product. Don’t buy this headlamp.

Honestly I believe this is one of the best headlight in the market works fantastic you can use it on a hike to help you with little details on jewellery or if you need to fix something on your car or in the sink at your house this is a wide range versatile headlamp powerful settings works fantastic I suggest this to anybody who is looking for a headlamp that’ll last you forever and is an amazing price another amazing Amazon products

This headlamp is a powerhouse ! The big rechargeable batteries last a long time and have a great amount of power, far more than the smaller AA batteries. This has low light settings for worm picking and a retina melting high beam which could ignite low flying airplanes LOL ! This is the BIG DADDY of headlamps !

Per il prezzo la torcia è decisamente valida e le batterie in dotazione sembrano buone, l'unica pecca è il vano che le contiene; non impermeabile. Un problema che ho riscontrato è che non si possono utilizzare le normali batterie 18650 verdi, in quanto il polo positivo non è sporgente e non vi è contatto. Si pagano i led, che sono molto buoni. E' presente anche un dissipatore di calore che fa il suo dovere, scalda solo quando sono accese tutte le luci. Inoltre non da eccessivamente fastidio mentre la si indossa. Sono soddisfatto.

the light etc is fine but the elastic band to hold it onto one's head is very short..not big enuf for a man's head ..that is a regular mans head ...so we sewed abt 1 1/2 inches of elastic of the smae width to the strap..sort of wierd.. but it worked as long as you cna sew and have a sewing machine...
