Wonderful book to introduce children to the museum and the different exhibits it has to offer. Bought it for my grandchild, but I enjoyed it too. Made our trip to the museum more fun!

This book is so fun - it has so much great information - not only interesting tidbits about pieces in the museum, but also background on how things were discovered, how scientists experimented and worked in the field - it even includes puzzles and quizzes. The Komodo dragon about to eat a boar, a moai cast from Rapa Nui, the whale's bellybutton, and who doesn't like reading stories about dinosaurs? This book will be perfect to use to engage my kids not only while at the museum, but to read before visiting. My son likes looking through the book before bed....sweet museum dreaming.

Not only do children learn about the famous giant whale, but they get to peek into the secret nooks and crannies of the museum too. There are fun games and quizzes as well. A definite "must have" for the inquisitive child.

My kids loved the interesting facts and the behind the scenes peek at museums. This is also great book for all children who love dinosaurs. There’s tons of cool information and it’s presented in a kid friendly way. Recommend!

What a great deal on a trove of insider secrets! My kids have always loved the museum (who doesn't?) and now we'll have even more to talk about when we visit!

My kids are on a museum kick and this book hit that sweet spot. Nice photos matched with some interesting facts bring it all together. Really well done, highly recommended.
