Amazon Basics Violin Strings - Nickel-Silver Wound

Very bad quality stringsThe fourth string went within a day of putting it on. I thought it might be a fluke. This morning the second string broke too.Spend your money elsewhere. These are ridiculously bad quality strings.

Couldnt get the e string on before it snapped. That was the string I needed most too. Dont waste money.

Only installed 1 string that needed to be replaced and it broke before even being able to get it in key.

I ordered a replacement product due to the first one breaking and the replacement came I must been user error because it broke too so it’s a great product but just be careful if you new to stringing a violin.

I bought this to replace the E string on my daughter's violin. It broke and I just reused the string that was there. This string was incredibly thin and if I do need a replacement I will probably just go to the shop instead.

These work as good as my other strings, at a more affordable price and easy to restring. They come individually wrapped coiled up and marked as 1, 2, 3, or 4. Would purchase again!

The string on ends were unraveling when they arrived and the a string popped before I even tuned it. They would be okay for a beginner but I would pay to have it restrung by a professional

I don't even know why I'm giving this 2 stars instead of 1. These strings aren't supposed to break after about 5 minutes of use, but that's exactly what happened. I should have believed the other reviews on this. Worth spending a bit of money for stings of better quality.

As a beginner who’s recently started learning the violin these strings really appealed to me due to their price. Unfortunately the G string unraveled in two places, one near the peg (likely user error) and also in the middle of the string. As a newbie to the instrument i don’t have enough knowledge to comment in-depth, however I can say I won’t order them again and would rather pay a little more for something less flimsy.

Very good strings for training/practicing violin

When the product arrived the heat sealed bags strings normally come in where not sealed. While lightly tightening the string, the wire holding it to the bearing snapped as seen in the photo. The other strings are fine, although this raises a red flag.
