Cartwright & Butler Horseradish Cream 140 g

I like the jar, but wonder how much it adds to the overall cost. The taste is very good indeed. Creamy and tastes of what its meant to taste of. WAY cheaper to make yourself, but a very nice standby.

I have tried a few different brands but this is lovely, just the right amount of horseradish!The jar is very twee and dinky...love it!This is the one for me, I will never buy anything else ever again!Highly recommended!

Creamy. Good flavour - not too strong and not too feeble. Everyone liked it over Xmas. Lovely jar too.

I keep buying this and hate when it runs out ! Proper old fashioned horseradish sauce with a nice kick and quality taste . Customer service excellent also thanks 😊

I’ve been looking for a decent horseradish for years. I’ve tried loads. I’m looking for the right amount of heat (quite hot) without the synthetic taste of a cheap mayo, not smooth (you need to feel the grated horseradish (armoracia rusticana, basically a prolific garden weed) and a white (not too white as the plant has a yellow tinge) colour. I’ve made it from the garden but failed dismally and it doesn’t keep that long. C&B horseradish comes in a nice jar but the content has a nasty synthetic taste. You’re basically paying over £4 for the jar. “The condiment company, horseradish sauce” in my view, is the best horseradish I’ve tasted. Maybe I should get out more?!

The perfect combination of the heat of horseradish with a creamy base. Delicious addition to our Sunday lunch!

Liked everything about it.Do not buy any other horseradish products now.I use it as a condiment but also as an ingredient in many dishes especially fishcakes.Have also been known just to have the odd spoonful as a snack !
