The Emotions' Survival Guide

I bought the first copy of this book for myself, because I SO loved the movie. After reading it through, I've decided to buy several more as gifts. This book, so filled with information, is the perfect way for young people to make sense of their ever changing emotions. I thoroughly enjoyed its great artwork, wonderful content and, if the portions of the book for your own thoughts are filled in, it will become a treasured keepsake.

Perfect for children who have a hard time with emotion regulation. Excellent platform for discussing important topics with kids and giving them useful tools to navigate growing up. The best part is our kids beg to go through the book because they love the Inside Out characters who "narrate" the book in a way that is age appropriate, engaging and funny. It is also interactive, giving kids the opportunity to journal their thoughts and develop coping strategies for issues they are facing.

As described. Shipped fast. Works well. Would work great for therapy, parents, or anyone working with kids. I think it would be a great book for parents to do with their children to gain understanding of emotions, calm down methods, TUNS of great stuff!.

This is really cute for someone around the age of 6-8. I originally got it for either my daughter age 9 or my son age 7 but it was to girly looking for my son and to basic for my daughter. We gave it to a young friend at her birthday and she loved it. It is good to give a beginner lesson of feelings and recognizing them.

A beautiful book wonderfully written in the voices of the 5 emotions that gives wonderful tips about how to navigate the emotional roller-coaster of life! I love reading it over and over again. There are many activities in the book, but I Haven't done them because I hesitate to write in it and ruin the book.

My lil' one loves to write and journal, and inside out is her favorite movie. She was so excited to get this for her birthday, she started filling out the questions right away. Really helps her to get in touch with her feelings and understand them.

I honestly was a bit disappointed with this book... It's certainly cute and is interactive, but it mostly follows the story in the movie. I was hoping for a more informational approach, but it wasn't found here. It is very well made and hard cover, with fill in the blanks that are great for kids and adults alike. It's just not quite what I expected.

Great book for older children and even adults! My 7yr old son has mid-high functioning ASD and often battles with his own emotions. This has been a wonderful book for him and a chance to gain some personal insight.

This is a great book. There are lots of activities that ask the child to think about their own life and emotions. Fun book to do with your child and an excellent starter for conversations on their own emotions.

daughter loved the film got this as a stocking filler. shes 11 years old, fun way for her to explore emotions, easy to understand, makes a complicated subject easier (for us parent!)

I got this for a friend and filled in most of the book myself as a way to make it more personal. They seemed to really like it, not just for kids!
