I used these plates for a very large party. Great quality and holds food good due to being a deep plate. Didn't seem flimsy and no leak through that I could tell.

These "deep dish" plates are about as deep as your average existential crisis which is to say, barely perceptible but somehow still disappointing. Dixie apparently thinks adding a lip around the edge qualifies as revolutionary dishware engineering. The marketing promises they'll handle "your messiest meals," but unless your messiest meal consists of three crackers and a light sprinkling of shame, you're going to need backup plates. Or actual dishes. Or just eat over the sink like the civilized adult you've become.The real tragedy is paying premium prices for what amounts to regular paper plates with delusions of grandeur. They fold under pressure faster than your New Year's resolutions, leaving you holding a sad, soggy taco shell filled with whatever you optimistically thought this flimsy circle could contain. The "ultra" strength is presumably compared to tissue paper, because anything sturdier would require actual engineering. Perfect for people who want the convenience of disposable plates combined with the structural integrity of wet cardboard and the environmental guilt of contributing to landfills for no good reason.

I was looking for disposable plates for a holiday dinner. These plates are durable and they're deep so it's great for any type of meal that has sauce or gravy. I bought these to use for Korean Bibimbap and it worked perfectly. Highly recommend.
