Make sure you know if you need a vented or unvented gas cap
The gas cap fit and finish was perfect. Just make sure you know if you need a vented or none vented before you order one. I ordered a none vented gas cap and I needed a vented one so I had to drill a hole through the base and up through the bottom to meet the base hole that I drilled.

Road King Gas Cap
Great piece but no ratcheting mechanism inside like the original cap. The chrome finish is flawless. A well made piece with sharp edges. I will keep and still use, but it is a bit much for the styling of the Road King. The nostalgia of the original is tasteful and really where it’s at.

Looks cool but doesn’t last
I put this on my 21 iron 1200 and the black color turned to a greenish color after about a month! Pretty weak. Looked really good untell then

Cap fits and screws in with same thread, looks AWESOME. But the crown itself is SHARP AS HELL. Can very likely cut ur self on it... definitely wish it was full. Kinda gotta take it off oddly ...
