Great for GI Stasis
I am extremely happy, they sent me this so fast. I was so desperate and it got here the next day!-To be safe I would pay asap delivery (I didn’t because I had other feedings) This product made my job so much easier because he liked it. My rabbit was going through GI stasis, I ran out of the critical food my vet prescribed. I was then force feeding this owbow and he hated me lol. It was quite the fight every feeding. My rabbit did not have much of an appetite but once I gave him a taste of the appetite stimulate he was looking for more. I had to syringe feed him the food packets and I went with my veterinarian instructions. He would eat on his own small amounts and I would increase feeding times I was in between jobs so I fed him every 2-3hours around the clock. It wasn’t hard because he was willing only by syringe. Waking up throughout the night was hard, but I did it. It’s not bad because he was more hungry at nights (that was motivation for me) and it would take less than 10-15 minutes total . When I worked (3)12 I fed him 6am, came home for lunch (I didn’t eat) 12pm, 7:50p, 11pm, 1am , 4am (I know it was crazy) When I worked my new job (5) 8hour I fed him: 6am,3:00 usually, 6p, 9p,12am,3am I didn’t feed him the whole packet I fed based on my veterinarian amount and what my rabbit would allow. Point is do what you can. If financially possible you can hire someone to make visit(s) to feed your rabbit while at work. It’s not expensive. I didn’t know these people existed. He’s so much better, completely eating on his own. Don’t give up. My rabbit is a mini Rex - anyone who has the same breed should absolutely have this on hand, they are at extreme high risk. This is my 4th time dealing with GI stasis and sometimes it just happens. I had rabbits for 30years and this is the first rabbit I ever had to experience Gi stasis with. First picture with him laying down flat, you can tell he’s not feeling well, in pain, this is the day I went to the veterinary ER. He lost weight. 2nd picture he is feeling so much better, following me around the house. I can tell he’s thankful.

Literally a lifesaver
One of my bunnies has had chronic digestive issues with frequent bouts of GI stasis. The other formulas provided by both my vet and the emergency vet (Critical Care and Selective) are not tolerable to my bunny and most of it ends up on me! Thank God for Sherwood, not only does my bunny let me syringe feed this to him, but I can actually put it in a bowl, and he'll eat it all on his own! I'm not surprised because unlike the others, this smells so fresh and good. This has been a lifesaver and has given my bunny his health back. The packets of appetite stimulant are a much-added benefit to help with recovery. Better than yucky medicine! My only problem is that my other bunny who is not sick, has discovered how good this stuff is and races to clean out the bowl! I'm so glad I tried Sherwood. It is totally worth it. I wish the veterinarians would distribute this rather than the other stuff.

Saved my bunny
This stuff is amazing! I did not need to actually syringe feed him this go around because I started him on it when I noticed the problem early and he likes it. I actually used the appetite stimulant in it for a few times. I didn’t actually know that making sure his teeth stayed short involved his back teeth too, not just his incisors!. I’d look at his nice short front ones and think all was well. Not so! His chest and neck kept looking wet and I thought it was the water bowl but he was actually drooling from discomfort. The vet gave him Metacam for pain and I had to feed him this a few times and day and only feed hay otherwise, preferably 1st cut. She had mentioned a specialist and surgery but I can’t afford that. This is working! He is eating hay and grinding his teeth pain free. The vet said pellets (more than a tiny amount like 2TBS) was bad for him. Also I’ve always given him rabbit safe vegetables and fruits in small amounts but those things make them not hungry enough for hay and that’s 80% of his diet. I’m not to fall for it when he runs up to me when I open the fridge. Instead I make sure he has high quality 1st cut hay at all time such as Small Pets Select, Oxbow or even Eaton brand and a small amount of pellets and hopefully he will grind down his teeth. She also said bananas can ferment in his stomach so outside of a little nibble 1-2 time per mo they are off limits. I don’t know why God made rabbits to have to eat hay but we have to convince them other than we brought them indoors and changed up their whole world. His sister has never experienced any issues like this. I’m so grateful for this emergency kit!!

The 'One-Two Punch' to save your rabbit's life.
This is what I use when Bynnicula's G.I. system gets slowed down or stopped up. Sherwood has packaged them together for convenience, and it's saved my bunny's life when G.I. stasis threatened.

Amazing product! Saves you a trip to the vet
Amazing product! This will save you a trip to the vet. I've used this product on four different occasions for gut stasis for three of my rabbits and it worked every time. It's an amazing product. I love it!!

Worth the money!
One of my rabbits kept having stasis episodes at least once a year so I decided to buy this pack to have in my emergency first aid kit. My rabbit started showing very early signs of stasis and all the meds administered from her last ER vet had expired, so I didn’t want to chance it and gave her baby gas drops and this Sherwood emergency kit. I used one pack of the appetite restore mix and syringe fed my rabbit and the package said in 1-3 hours your rabbit should start eating, and sure enough at the 2 hour mark, my rabbit was pooping, eating, and drinking water! This kit is a huge lifesaver if you’re in a pinch, but always keep a close eye on your rabbit just in case you need to go to the emergency vet.
