Howies Non-Stretch Pro Grip Tape 1.5in

Using this tape is cheaper than buying new grips for a handgun. It's easy to put on or take off. And it gives me a good grip even in humid or wet weather. It's one of my favorite upgrades for cheaper 1911s.

Perhaps the single worst tape I’ve ever used in my life. Bought this to wrap a pistol grip… couldn’t get a single clean edged usable piece. Cloth just ripped up, stuck together and generally didn’t work. Great if you don’t mind the appearance of whatever you’re putting it on. I guess for hockey sticks that’s fine. But on a $1200 pistol… maybe not so much. Total waste of money.

I use this a grip tape for my Glocks. I really like the feel and it has great grip, even when wet. The only negative is that it tends to rip on any bends.

Tape works great, although gets kind of a "gummy" feel over time. "Gummy" feels gross but also real grippy so not the worst problem. The biggest problem I have with it is once you've got what you need and set the roll aside, you may as well throw it out. Could not get a usable strip to come free after sitting for a few months. Think trying to get a roll of packing tape going again once you let the edge re-stick to itself, but so much worse worse.

I was curious about this as I needed a good ‘grippy’ tape to add to a few common used items I have. Added a good bit to a set of kettlebells in my gym. Immediate game changer. Without tape, the handles were slippery, especially after sweating a little bit. These give me confident grip, and I am less afraid of dripping heavy weight on my feet.
