BEST BABY PRODUCT EVER!
We LOVE the Wubs!! I'm sure the makers of this are millionaires- and they should be. We have about 5 of them and our daughter loves each and every one- she loves to rub them on her face too to put herself to sleep. If you try to give her a normal paci she will scream her head off- but the moment she feels the wub she calms down. This is a gift we recommend to any new parent. Even if you don't think you will be a paci family.... In case you are new to the wub- they are small soft stuffed animals that are sewn onto an Avent Pacifier. Pros: Washable- this is huge, you just throw them in the washing machine and they come out sanitary and looking new again. They are usually practically dry when they come out so I can give them to our daughter right away if need be. Helps with weaning paci's- We have started trying to only allowing wub's in the crib. We bought an extra wub to cut the paci off and give her just the animal for when she is playing. She notices the paci is not there but when its the only option she still loves him! Helps you not lose it (as quickly)- We went through several normal paci's when she was a newborn, would set it down somewhere and then it was gone! The wub helps it to stand out. Seems trivial- but when you have a newborn and your baby is screaming its vital! Variety- they are just so darn cute! There are so many different animals, and it's so much cuter than her having a normal paci. It's also fun to see how much she has grown- the frog was half the size of her when she was born! Cons- There aren't many! They do get dirty -but again you can wash them. The only con is that my child won't take a normal paci, so if i forget to give one to the babysitter I am heading back with it.

Super cute and easy to grasp
This is a super cute, plush with attached pacifier. And the pacifier is similar to the Philips Advent ones. The downside about this item is that the pacifier does not come off. I throw the entire plush into the wash along with other baby items using baby detergent. I let it air dry. Then before giving to my baby, I set the pacifier and into a cup of boiling hot water for five minutes. It’s large enough for my baby to grab and he is currently four months and has been using it since he was two months. There’s another item made by them that has a removable pacifier. It’s a little black and white cow. I prefer that one as it’s easier to clean and sanitize

A Lifesaver!
I fought the idea of a pacifier for my second son, but he was colicky and we resorted to any method possible to stop the screaming. He became attached to the Soothie brand pacifier we were given at the hospital. When he was around 2 months, we began the battle of him losing his pacifier in the night and I was constantly waking up to put it back in his mouth. I had been skeptical about trying a Wubbanub because I was afraid he would form an attachment to it since it's a toy and a Soothie in one and that it would be hard to break him of it. In a state of sleep deprivation, I picked this one up and am so glad I did! When he was still small, I swaddled this up with him and night so that he didn't lose it. Did it make him sleep through the night? No. But at least I wasn't constantly retrieving a pacifier. As he got older, he learned to hold it himself and guide it back in his mouth. The longhorn attached made it easier for his immature eye-hand coordination than if it was just the pacifier. Now that he's 8 months old, he chews on the horns, sucks on the tag, and chews on the pacifier. I don't have bumper pads in his crib, so other pacifiers fall through the rail. This Wubbanub stays in the crib much better than those do. I've read reviews that say it's cheaply made or not easily washable and I do not agree. About once a week I round up all the pacifiers and boil them. I just hold the nipple of this into the boiling water to keep the longhorn dry. Rather than throwing it in the washing machine with clothes when the longhorn gets dirty (and it does a lot because it goes everywhere with us), I just hand wash it with some Dreft and let it air dry. This keep it from getting fuzzy, as other reviewers have mentioned. I had actually gotten on here to order a second one because we like it so much and I'm afraid we'll lose the one we have. My fear came true that this has become his lovey, but I plan to just cut the pacifier off when the time comes to wean off of it. I still wish he didn't use a pacifier, but I'm so happy that we found something he likes and is capable of using all on his own! UPDATED JULY 2013 I still fully stand behind this product, but wanted to update that we did have our first big issue with this Wubbanub. At 10 months, my son is a terror when it comes to teething. He bites and chews very hard on anything available, including this pacifier. On the one he's been using for 6 months, he was finally able to rip the pacifier part off of the longhorn by chomping down on the pacifier and pulling on the plush part over and over for weeks. It came off in one piece and wasn't a choking hazard, but it's thoroughly confused my son! I think part of the problem is that these are made with Soothies for ages 0-6 months, which has thinner material in the pacifier. If I had a way to attach a 6+ month paci to this, it would probably fare much better. Still a great product, but keep an eye out for your little chompers and make sure that the material is still holding firm.

Lifesaver
My son loves his pacifier. After losing the first one we had to replace it asap since it he would not fall asleep easily without the comfort of his pacifier and cuddly animal. When we received it he was ecstatic that his eyes widened in shock One thing I did notice is that he was hesitant to love it at first because the pacifier was new and stiff compared to his soft and worn pacifier, so it took some time for him to warm up to the replacement. Overall it's a great pacifier that comforts and cuddles your baby at the same time.

Great idea!
My son loves his wubbanubs (also has the giraffe). It does help keep the pacifier in, although, like others stated, it is not perfect. It is a pain to clean because the pacifier is attached. I would strongly recommend buying two so you can throw one in the wash if soiled. I threw it in the washer in a delicate laundry bag and let it air dry without any issues. My son really likes to squeeze the stuffed animal when he has the pacifier - sometimes a pain because he grabs it and pulls it out unintentionally... but all in all a great idea! A must have for babies (and their parents) who love their pacifiers but can't quite figure out how to keep them in.
