"Tall enough to use on lawn mower 9 inch round flywheels".
I "liked" it a lot (Love is a word used by women). I really needed it to remove the nine inch round flywheel from my Troy Bilt mower with Honda engine to inspect the cutter key. I only needed to use the two arms of the three way puller, The flywheel had two specific pulling points to be used with the puller and I also needed it to be deep (tall) enough. There are other ways of removing the flywheel, but I did not want to take a chance and damage the flywheel as they are to expensive to replace, if you can find them. The woodruff key in the flywheel turned out to be real good shape. It turned out, I had to get a new carburetor for my stating problems. It is really well built and strong and has the hexagon shaft to use with a socket and ratchet instead of the ones with the square shaft. It was also less expensive than "Snap-On or "Matco Tools. I now have a well built tool that I can use on other things, including on my old CJ-5 jeep which has a lot of places to use it on.

Heavy Duty. I would recommend. Give it a shot if this is what you are looking for. Better price via Amazon Warehouse Deals.
I ordered this via Amazon Warehouse Deals. Stated it was "Used--Very Good Condition". Was immediately available and prices seemed to be 35-30% less than a "New" one. Ad stated it may have limited "cosmetic" damage, not affecting tool's use. Gave it a shot. Arrived within the promised time-frame in original packaging. All pieces were included. I could not discern any significant "cosmetic" damage (at least any more than I would expect on a "new" product). Heavy duty tool. Haven't had a chance to use it yet, but I have no doubt that it will perform as stated. I would definitely recommend this tool for the price.

NOT Pro Grade - Disposable Quality
You may get one or two uses out of this polar, but it is definitely not pro-grade. First time pulled a pulley with a key that was way undersized for this puller and it came off fine. Second job was trying to get a hub off a split drive shaft on a front wheel drive car and bent like a banana. I'll try to add pictures.

Mana from heaven
A gift from the gods. Had to pull hubs to replace wheel bearings "05 bmw 530i" tried hammer puller tried every trick I could find on YouTube nothing worked it sat there laughing at me till I had this tool in my hands took less than 90 seconds till that sob bearing sat there on the ground looking up at me in defeat. I have used it several more times since and it has never failed me.

Great value, quality tool
Like someone else said, got a lot more than I expected given the price. I got the 8" 2/3 Jaw Model. I have used it to rip off tons of carrier/pinion bearings. I typically use it with an impact gun and despite getting it pretty sideways and bound up it has not broken yet.It is one of my most used tools for bearings, if you dont have a LARGE shop press these things are invaluable. Overall i give it 5 stars, if it breaks I would just buy another one... so far its been going strong and working really well.

Not a puller for heavy duty use
I needed a large diameter puller and this fit the bill. I was using it to remove a CV shaft from a wheel bearing. On the first use, the threads started to gall (even using a light oil) and the screw shaft bent. This is not for heavy duty use and a waste of time and money. This may be fine for pulling a lightly pressed on gear but not for most automotive uses.

Very poor quality!
1) the arms are not the same thickness by a lot. You can see it with the naked eye-You don't have to measure it with a calipers.2) in the two jaw configuration the arms and the threaded shaft are not on the same plane.3) The threaded shaft is supposed to be fine thread but it is not!!

Does the job..
This tool is solidly constructed and appears to be extremely durable. I needed to pull the rather stubborn flywheel off a lawnmower engine I am rebuilding and this did the trick in under 1 minute. Before I bought it I looked at a cheapie gear puller from Harbor Freight Tools since I am not a professional mechanic and I was only looking for something for occasional use; this one is of much better quality than the one from Harbor Freight and, when you figure in shipping, actually less expensive.

8" tool fell well short of 8" reach.
I purchased this tool to remove a propeller from our boat. The propeller hub is only 6 1/2" long. I ordered the 8" unit thinking I had room to spare. Instead I found the 8" did not extend 8" at all. I was unable to use the tool as it was too small. Disappointed, I will have to request a return.

8" is more than long enough to pull bearings off a pool pump
I was needing to replace the bearings on my pool pump and wasn't sure what size puller to buy. I went a bit conservative and got the 8" puller just to make sure the reach was long enough. I probably could have gotten the 6" and it still would have more than adequate, but even still the 8" works great.I took one star off because of lack of assembly instructions. I wasn't sure where the star shaped washers go, on the bolt head side, or nut side.

Good puller! Buy the 8" puller as it will be able to pull the smaller bearings aswell!
I used the 8" bearing puller to pull bearings off a diesel engine crankshaft, the bearings were 6307 size, good size, but the puller worls perfect! I used just the 2 jaw setup aswell! Now im not going to shop to replace bearings anymore.😎
