Feels amazing. Speeds healing!
Soothes and protects your skin. It is truly amazing how good it feels on the tattoo. It stays on and keeps working for a long time, two hours or more. It stops the itch dead. One tube did this tattoo, a bigger one on my calf and two 3x5 tats on my wife. I mean there is a ton of product in one tube. My wife used it almost on the hour while I treated mine closer to every 3 or 4 hours. My wife has super super sensitive skin and she wouldnt even consider another tattoo without sanibalm. My average recovery time from tattoos was cut in half. You heal faster, better and with significantly less discomfort.

Great aftercare product
So glad I found Sanibalm! This tattoo was my first one using a Saniderm bandage for after care and read great reviews on Sanibalm and decided to use it. Since I ordered it through Amazon Prime (it got to me quick) I wasn’t able to start using it till day 5 of the healing process. My piece had already started to dry out and peel and Sanibalm has made that process so much more bearable. It soothes the itch, moisturizes and hydrates and makes the lines crisp and colors bright.I’m on Day 11 and my tattoo is healing nicely.Such better results than other aftercare products I’ve used!

Nice!
I do like this balm, but with a few caveats.1) This is a "hard" stick. You will want to make sure you warm it against your skin before you start moving it around to apply, otherwise it will skip/drag across the skin. That is just the nature of the balm.2) It is not anything super unique, so you should consider if you want a stick or a lotion-type balm for your tattoos.3) This stick is A LOT of product. You get your money's worth, and I wish I would have gotten it when I started my sleeve instead of toward the end. Now I will have to get a LOT more ink to use all this stick up. LOL4) I used this to moisturize my freshly cleaned tattoo before putting the Saniderm bandages on, and it worked really, really well. This combination made for the smoothest heal of any of the sleeve sessions.

Necessary Addition to Saniderm Routine
Purchased for the first time and I LOVE it! The stick form makes it so easy to apply. I give it a little rub with my forarm so its not too thick. Such a huge relief from itching. Normally my new tattoos itch and peel like crazy but not this time. I did a week with a saniderm bandage and since removing my second piece rub this on probably ~5 times a day. I got my most recent piece 9 days ago and its already so smooth and healed.

I've dropped my old healing routines and will use this from now on!
I recently got a large piece that surrounds my entire thigh and after seeing how well the Saniderm wraps work on a fresh tattoo I decided to look into their other healing products and found this. I decided to give it a try after my first session to see if there was a difference on the outcome vs my old healing regiment (plastic wrap + dial soap + bacitracin). The results were shocking honestly and while a lot of credit needs to go to the Saniderm wrap, this balm definitely helped make the healed tattoo look extremely clean and crisp! I've always had a feeling that petroleum based ointments like Aquaphor were more for the physical healing of the skin itself and did less to preserve the color and detail of a brand new tattoo. That plus this balm serves as both a healing agent and a lubricator so no need to apply multiple products to a new piece, all you have to do is wash it gently with Dial soap in the shower once a day and apply this balm 2-3 times as needed throughout the healing process. Done and done!

Stock up, you won’t regret it!
After using many different types of ointments, salves, creams I can say Sanibalm is by far the best. It does exactly what it claims to do. It reduces pain, inflammation, and NO SCABBING when used appropriately. On top of this it definitely speeds up healing. Since the shops reopened here on May 15th, I have gotten 4 tattoos, 3 are already healed and one is almost healed (it’s only 5 days old). So definitely get this stuff, it is a game changer. For reference 1 Tattoo was rather large 8 x 8 and the other 3 are 5 x 5. Using this stuff has made my skin feel super soft and there is no itching either!

Worked well, short shelf life
Over the years I’ve used thin layers of Aquaphor to heal my tattoos, having great results every time, but after using Saniderm Tattoos Bandages the last two years I decided to switch things up and give Sanibalm a try. I can say that the product worked well to heal my tattoos, especially used in conjunction with the wrap—I might even say it felt like healing time was quicker with this combo, however I can’t speak about color fastness as I only have tattoos done in black ink.The scent is interesting, kind of fruity, I would describe it as a mango cart on a hot summer day. The texture isn’t sticky and it doesn’t feel heavy on the skin, which is nice. My only real complaint is that after having the Sanibalm stick for two months the oils in the balm started breaking down and it became chunky/gritty. I’m assuming it had something to do with the heat transfer between my skin and the stick. I made sure to only use it on clean skin and store it in a cool dry place after application, but I did purchase it over the summer so maybe that had something to do with it, whatever the case I decided to toss it as it was kind of grossing me out. I guess texture changes are expected from a product with natural ingredients, but it definitely makes me reconsider buying it again.

LETS BE HONEST
So, my tattoo was covered with Saniderm for three days. I was told to leave it on for five if I could, but mine started to peel. I began using Sanibalm the day after and WOW. Talk about way less itching and peeling! It is awesome. My experience could be a tad different because I used Saniderm first but I highly recommend this product!! Once my tattoo starts to itch I put Sanibalm on it and I forget about it for most of the day.
