this is the best of the rooting solutions
Ever since I discovered Dyna-Gro products, I have stopped using any other product. KLN is the best transplant product I have ever seen. When I used other products, the plant would look like it was challenged, but when I use this stuff and follow the prescribed formula blend they suggest on the bottle, the plant looks happy and thrives. It just takes off in growth and looks beautiful. Any other product I have used, the plant seems to take a month or more to get over the shock of the change out that has occurred with it. KLN does not shock the plant and it seems to lap up the goodies like it is a special treat. I use a variety of the Dyna-Gro products and have learned to appreciate their quality. Pro Tekt aids my plants in the summer time and they grow nice and strong with it; it helps them with the heat. Dyna-Gro basic is great for developing roots, stems, and leaves; trees really like it as a once a month treat. There is a formula for flowers and for foliage depending on what you need to do for your plant. They also have a magnesium formula that you use for roses. Yes your roses thrive with an extra serving of magnesium as per the instructions on the bottle. So for roses I rotate the Dyna-Gro basic, the magnesium, and the Flower formula. As I said, trees get the Dyna-Gro basic and the flowers get the Flower formula and the Dyna-Gro basic. There is a foliage formula and it does well when you want strong foliage or just want the plant to get a little extra kick start. It is all highly concentrated so do follow the suggested ratios. It is pricy but it all goes a very long ways and plants and flowers will look gorgeous and well taken care of. As you can tell I really like Dyna-Gro products. Very highly recommended.

Great product!
I grow orchids, and a common problem among orchid growers is root rot. Note that I do not have a greenhouse nor perfect growing conditions, and in the past, I've lost many orchids to root issues. Actually, I had bought this bottle of KLN just to rehabilitate a dozen or so cattleyas that I had acquired. All of them had root rot issues, and some of them had no live roots at all. I soaked the plants in a concentrated KLN solution, potted them up in fresh bark, and watered with KLN once a week (1-2 drops per gallon). Within a few weeks, almost all of them had signs of new roots. In a couple more weeks, some of the growths had so many new roots sprouting that they reminded me of Medusa (you know, sprouting tentacles of roots in all directions...). I was really amazed at my result. I know what I did isn't technically a "good science experiment" in which a control group would be used to compare the effects of KLN vs no KLN. But I would say, nonetheless, that KLN does help with root growth.

It does work with caveats
I found it to work well, and my plants seemed to speed up rooting. I have to warn against using too much as I have noticed it can cause some weird mutations. The biggest caveat here is that synthetic hormones need to be really fresh, or otherwise they're ineffective, this product has a best by date, which is great, but when you read the temperatures at which the product is stable, they're extremely low! Below the average household! Yet refrigeration doesn't seem to be an option either. So it signifies this product, and its quality, are unstable. Finally, the bottle cap leaks!

Wow! Works!
So I have been recently experimenting with aeroponic cloning. Plan on using this as a root simulator in the reservoir for better / quicker roots because I have only read good things about it. I have one clone that rooted, and was put into soil about 1 week ago. For the entire week, the plant has been shocked and very unhappy. I made a little mix with about 1 cup of my pH’d wated, with about 0.25mL of the KLN, and HOLY CRAP. The little sickly clone perked up in a matter of a couple hours! *see pictures*. The 8oz bottle is super tiny, but with this stuff, it does not require much at all for small applications. In reference to other reviews, my bottle was NOT expired, and does not expire for another 6 or so months. Even after that I’m sure it would be fine to use. This is a good addition to anybodys nutrient collection and to be use for seedlings, clones, new plants, and other situations where the plant is struggling to set it’s root and become established.

Best Option I've Found
I've tried the seaweed/kelp extracts and the one thing that never fails to work on troubled orchids is this: KLN. Without fail. Within a couple of weeks of using, thick, new healthy roots appear where none were before and existing roots start branching out. I do not get such profound & immediate results from anything else, and I've tried them all. From seaweed to other root hormones to orchid probiotics to black tea to everything those orchid YouTube experts recommend. I use smaller-than-recommended amounts on healthy orchids and recommended doses for orchids in my Orchid ICU.

Expiry date issue with the supplier, but thank fully the seller has identified this issue and is making it right. Happy with the seller, but not the 2month expiry date on a product that should last at least a year.

I have no complaints regarding the product. The product supplied to me has the following printed lot 4747, not for use or sale after 31/01/2015 This is not acceptable. I have less than three months to use all of the product before the expire date.
