Overall, they are a good value. The granules crumble easily. The texture feels like good quality and I've noticed a difference in my animals health after they were given this as part of their diet. It does taste exactly as it smells, if anything just a little bitter.

Love this bee pollen! I use a teaspoon to scoop it out and try to swallow it with water like a pill because it doesn’t taste great, but that’s been working well for me! I like the size that it comes in too. I’m not sure how other people take it though. The smell and taste are not the best but it’s not unbearable. We have noticed a difference in our immunity since taking this, and we know it has good effects on hormones for both men and women, so we will continue taking!

This is my go-too bee pollen. I’ve been using it for years. Love it! Great quality and super healthy!

I've tried a few different kinds of bee pollen, and this is the most extremely delicious, compared to the bee pollens. It's nowhere near as sweet as honey, and it does taste very earthy, but this is delicious! If you like any healthy foods, then you'll love this.If you've never tried bee pollen before, or if it's been a while, then you're supposed to start out with just a few grains at a time, and then build yourself up to eating it by the spoonful. But, luckily I've build up a tolerance to it over the years, so I can eat a lot of it. It's great to just eat by the handful, except the granules are small, and a few of them fall to the floor. It's great in protein shakes. Even though they don't fully dissolve, then they naturally sweeten your drink. They're also great on ice cream, too. Basically, these mix well with everything, and they're also great by themselves.YS Eco is an Illinois company, so the closer that you live to Illinois, then the better that you get the "local honey" effect of helping with your allergies. But, I live all the way over in Utah, and this pollen still helps me out a lot with my allergies.I read some horror stories about other bee pollens, and so I've been meticulously checking this for bee parts. I'm pleased to report that this is only bee pollen, and doesn't have any bee parts in it. I highly recommend this.

I bought this for my lab who in early February was already showing signs of environmental allergies. After seeing how miserable she was last year (the entire year) despite giving her regular treatment baths and increasing her allergy pills, I decided to try the bee pollen, which I had researched as a possible treatment.I'm very happy to report that within a day of starting the bee pollen, she was not scratching at all. It's now been about two weeks and she is still doing great as I slowly increase her dosage.I know vets suggest benadryl and all kinds of other non-natural treatments for allergies, but having killed a dog using conventional medicine prescribed by a vet, I choose to always look for safer, more natural ways to treat things.If you do decide to try this for your dog, please do your homework. You should start out with just one granule at first, and slowly increase daily to make sure your dog doesn't have a negative reaction. Even with a very, very small dosage, I immediately noticed positive results in my 100 lb.+ lab.If anything changes, I will update my review, but as of right now, before using dangerous drugs or prescription meds, I recommend anyone who has a dog with outdoor allergies to give this a try first.
