We live near the beach and have a lot of rust buildup on the iron works around the house. I used a simple rigid scraper to get off the surface rust and then sprayed the moderately cleaned surface with this rust reformer and that iron work looks great and seems to be inhibiting more rust from forming. Highly recommend.

Always a good choice and seems to work, will update once it’s been awhile to see how it lasts. Seems to go on smooth and leaves a decent finish. Stays dark and doesn’t lighten with makes it easy to blend and not look rough. Sticks just fine with minimum running

I always go with Rust-Oleum for quick paint jobs, the reformer spray is no different. Quick dry, has a consistent spray pattern, and stop and converts the rust. Dries matte black. Used this for a floor job on a '94 civic hatch after removing the ground insulation. I've used this for many other jobs and it has held up well.

The clacky sound the can makes when it gets shook is satisfying to my ears! The even application of the rust reforming primer makes the obliteration of rust easy and with a nice color. However, as satisfactory as the color of the primer is, the viewing is fleeting as most primers get another coat of paint sprayed over them. However, the primer is the unseen hero providing a durable and sound base as the paint all the world sees adheres to it. I suppose one could just use this product for its rust conversion and color, but dare one disturb the universe? Break the rules of paint adhesion? This must be decided as a personal choice.

stuff works good, easier to spray it than the brush on stuff

I bought this because I had light rust beginning to appear on one of my exterior wheel wells. I followed instructions, lightly sanded area, washed with soap and water rinsed let dry and then applied light coats. two to three. from a foot distance. I usually do an average job at things, but this one I can proudly say turned out excellent! Ease of use!!! It applies real easily! Nice finish!!! Didn't even have to paint, since it resembles the color of my car. I don't want to invest more money on a car that is aging so this fits the bill! I hope rust stays away, or is at least delayed before I retire!!!

Very impressed with the product. It worked like magic on my rusty metal ladder. Since I spray painted it, the paint is still there despite facing harsh elements as the ladder is outside in the balcony under severe hot and humid climate .
