I bought these shoes for my husband. I did go up in size as instructed. My husband wear a 12.5 but the 13 fit fine.They fit well and look nice BUT.......THE SMELL IS HORRIBLE! They smell like a pair of new shoes x1000. They down right stink. I Febreze'ed them and let them air out for days. The entire room smelled like those shoes. The smell has dissipated mostly and doesn't light up a room as before but if you open the box or sniff the shoes, the smell is still there. Also the box was so torn up when they arrived.

These arrived and out of the box, there was a very strong rubber smell. I assume this is the soles. Hopefully, the smell wears off. Other than that, they look great, feel great, and I couldn't be happier with these shoes. The Amazon description said that they are made to fit bigger and suggested ordering a full size smaller than your normal shoe size. However, I ordered my normal shoe size, 9.5, and they fit great.

These shoes look great! And feel great! They just smell like utter s***! It's like I walked into a gas station and dipped them in barrel of gas. I need to wear these at the upcoming queens birthday ball and tried to get a cheap steal of Amazon cause my last ball shoes were ruined. But you get what you pay for. I don't think I'll be able to step foot in the door with out being flagged for bomb making material b/c they smell that bad. Now I've been told to leave them in news paper or spray febreze on them but c'mon if it smelled this bad at the store no one would buy it. Which is why they are so cheap on Amazon.

These shoes are incredible quality for the price. There is some odor but not nearly as bad as others have described for me at least. I ordered 1/2 size smaller than I normally wear and it was perfect. I didn't wind up using these shoes so I cannot comment on comfort after long periods of wearing but the initial quality is extremely high for what you pay.

These shoes smell like gasoline. I know they were only $35, but Jesus.....

These shoes were great. Wore them at a black tie event and revived multiple compliments. They do run at least 1/2 size small so please keep this in mind. The only negative (and it's a small one) was that they had a very strong odor (polish and leather).Highly recommend these shoes to wear with your tuxedo!
