The Complete Hits Collection: 1973-1997

I looked at all the various cds for Billy Joel and decided on this one. I was right! It contains 4 cds and they compile all of his songs. The 4th cd is a live audience question and answer to Billy who responds in great detail his answers and plays the songs asked about along with some ablived cool breaks and history that I didn’t know. I recommend this for anyone who likes Billy and even those who may be on the fence, he is a great musician and entertainer. Charley 71 years young! I also saw Jimi Hendrix live when I was 16 in concert with Steppenwolf opening.

Great collection of Billy Joel

If you are looking for the hits of Billy Joel, this is the place. All of his major hits are here and in one place. There are no live cuts, no alternate takes, just song after song from one of the best musicians of the last 30 years.If you have some of his other CDs, you may quibble about some of the choices on the set. For example, I have a soft spot for "Leave A Tender Moment Alone" and that is not here. But that is minor.The 4th CD in this set is a gem, from his talks on the "business" of music, how records actually do get made. You get a feel for Joel as a person as he talks about growing up as he explains how and why he wrote songs such as Scenes, Vienna and Piano Man.

If you’re are Billy Joel fan you will enjoy this cd because it contains all the hit songs that Billy is known for.Worth having.

The quality of this collection is excellent in sound production and musicality and titles offered. It is without a doubt my favorite of the many I have from different artists. Very happy with it.

If you're a fan, get it. It is the most complete collection of his hits that's available. I'm very happy with it.
