These are chrome plated steel corner reinforcements for wooden tool boxes and travel cases. Aside from their protective function, they dress up the look of the cases and for a very good price. They came with flat head screws but I would have preferred pan head screws.

Excellent protection for corners!

Made my own flight case for gear and these are protecting its corners. They work fine for that but the countersunk screws provided (actually no countersunk screws) will not go flat to the surface because there's no recess on the corner protectors flat areas for the screws to go into. As such the screw edge protrudes a bit above the surface and can catch on things. But the corners of my case are protected.

While the corners were perfect for my project I had to purchase screws. The screws they include have countersink screw heads and don’t sit flush with the corner bracket (which don’t have countersunk shaped holes). So I had to go out and buy flat head screws.

The quality is good and they look great.

I refurbished a 4x12 guitar loudspeaker cabinet and used these as corner protectors. My cabinet edges/corners have been rounded over with a router and these are for sharp corners, so they look kind of goofy. Additionally, be warned that the screws that are included will stick out and not fit in flush. This will wreak havoc if you try to scoot it on a hard wood floor. They would be great for a different cabinet but I'd use different screws on them. I will be keeping them, but ordering a different style for my application.
