Lambro 3006 Tite Fit 90° Rectangular Aluminum Duct

So, my dryer vent was located right next to my AC unit. I needed to push it further away so that the lint didn't clog the radiators on the AC unit. I put one screw in the flashing on the outside of the left, one screw on the right side of the first section, and one screw inside the vent after I caulked everything up crazy, on the right side joint, pre and post... And inside the opening for the vent. I used a clear silicone caulk along the top edge against my vinyl siding. I also used it on the right and left sides, and on every screw I gooped it on.

Replaced the regular dryer hose to get the new dryer closer to the wall. The metal creates a very loud whistling/humming sound which csn be hears 2 rooms away with the doors closed. It was also more difficult to install than expected because you don't have the flexibility of a hose. Has to be pulled out and cleaned at least once a month. I think the corners catch the lint.

My parents had tried pushing their dryer as close to the wall as possilbe for their small laundry room, and crushed/broke the old round line that was there. This gets them as much room as possible and makes it less likely I'll be crawling over cabinets to fix a dryer exhaust line.Pro-tip: If you're unsure of the length you need, buy one of these that too long and use tin snips to get the perfect fit. A little aluminum tape doesn't hurt either, but isn't needed.

I liked the product. It was just too big for the window I want to put it in.

works great. Whenever you set up a new duct install, you should use these so that you can separate duct before moving dryer. Makes things much simpler if you can do it over the top or from the side.

The Duct is assembled, but not sealed at all. It's held together with simple rivets and doesn't prevent air from escaping at all.
