Transformers Generations Leader Class Starscream Figure Action Figure

On the pricey side but seems worth the cost since it's a high-quality, detailed toy. This ain't your basic $5 toy here like when I grew up. The nephew loved it! However, note that it took about a half-hour for my husband to figure out how to convert the toy between the two modes. The instructions are a bit poor in that they don't include a visual aid for every expected step, so you have to infer what to do between certain steps, particularly the step when you have to fold the toy's head into the body. The legs need to be jiggled a very particular and precise way before it'll fit properly.

This transformer is taller than it appears from the picture. I think it's well worth the money as the attention to detail is very good and it is of considerable size. It transforms well but definitely takes some practice the first time. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a good Starscream that is true to the original cartoon series.

It's an alright figure, with several pros a cons though. Pros. -Nice, big, G1 Starscream. We haven't had a big G1 Starscream in a while, and he looks cool if you want a jet Transformer towering over the Autobot cars. -Nice paint apps in jet mode -The crown is a really nice touch, it makes him stand more apart from Thundercracker and the upcoming Skywarp. -Mostly good articulation. Cons. -Lacks wrist, ankle and waist articulation. -Headsculpt is the same as Thundercracker and Skywarp. A little variety in expression would have been nice. -The robot mode color feels bland with the colorless wings -The missile is very trigger-happy, easy to fire away by accident and loose -The crown has no place to store in jet mode -If you want a Starscream to have more of a cartoon scale with the Autobots, as I said, he towers over them. Might have been a better figure if he was a voyager. But all in all, he's still good.

Package undamaged..... Everything was basically perfect!! The reason I only give it a 3.... is because it was "advertised" as slightly oversized scale(12")... when in fact, it's Masterpiece scaled (10") Very disappointing! It's a very good Starscream for the price. Easy to transform. I just didn't get what I was expecting to get. If it was 12" as stated..... I'd give two 5star reviews. I have the TW Optimus Prime (Primorion).... and it's become extremely difficult to find other transformers to match in scale.

My trine is now complete! Even though this sculpt is the same as the Thundercracker and Skywarp Generations Leader Class toys, I'm still absolutely thrilled. It's decently poseable, fun to transform (though getting the bulk behind the nosecone to transform into a jet can be a little tricky sometimes). The toy gun has the same hairpin trigger as the other seekers of this model, but it doesn't detract from the fun for me. If you were buying this for a kid though, you might have a hard time keeping track of the little projectile missile. Oh, and the crown is icing on the cake! Overall, I absolutely love this toy!

Two adults with mechanical engineering degrees had a difficult time figuring out how to transform this one. 8 year old broke it within 24 hours.

Better than the Power Of The Primes Starscream in every way but one, the wings in robot mode don’t bend back out of the way for the arms. Otherwise, like Megatron from this line and Optimus from Power Of The Primes, he’s basically a cheaper alternative to a masterpiece figure. Huge in jet mode, all the G1 features are there and scales well with other leader class figures.

Love this Star scream character. Very well done so far the Transformers Combined Wars Characters have all been great and fairly priced.

Coloring is a bit dull but the product is hasbro, so its hallmark quality. Transformers like a butter and one of the best molds of the Combiner wars line.

Bon robot

This is a blast from the past! They seem to have modelled this Starscream from the original Transformers movie from the 80s, he even comes with a crown. Fundamental point for this toy is it is actually quite big and for the price similar to lesser toys in this range is a great deal of value or money. As can be expected for a toy in this price range, the quality is good, craftsmanship is as expected from the Transformers of old and the durability, which is key, is tip top. This character is one of the retro greats and I feel that any child could not go wrong starting or adding to their collection with this toy. Great toy, good price and hours of Transforming fun.
