Best thing I ever bought (well, it is up there). I destroyed 3 bodum units - don't bother with their plastic versions, they just don't last and the glass one was OK, but I am a heavy user and occasionally they get a knock, which does not work well with glass.This unit is perfect as it also has a unexpectedly well working iunsulation. 3-4h later, the coffee is still warm. I am not a coffee connoisseur, as long as it it is warm and black and smells like coffee, I am good. I am also an engineer and cannot fault the design. No issues after many onths of heavy use. Easy to clean.I bought the 1l unit but now put the smaller version on my B-day list for travel.

OK, nice insulated keeps coffee hot while brewing.The only downside was the mesh it was to large (diameter) and reincalled up letting coffee grouts through.Simple remedy fold mesh edge back which worked, could have 5 stars everything else is well made and looks great, wil I recommend....yes.

After breaking so many glass cafetieres I wish I had bought this sooner! Makes really good coffee and keeps it much warmer than its glass counterpart. It is heavier, so that is something to take into consideration if you have grip issues but the handle is easy to hold and it is a breeze to clean. 5 stars!

I bought three of these because they really are excellent value for the price (£15). You get a spare filter with each as well which is handy. The clincher for me though is that they are dishwasher safe unlike many of the glass ones on the market.

Absolutely love it received today and used it 4 times already, design is beautiful, well made. The outside doesn't get hot to the touch and the handle is left cool too, just brilliant. I rinse and dry it right after use and it's perfect
