Columbia Women's Heavenly Jacket

This Columbia jacket is perfect for in-between seasons like fall and spring, and even works for mild winters depending on where you live. It’s thin and lightweight but still keeps you warm. I’m 5’6”, 140 lbs, and I got a medium. I usually wear a small, but I like my jackets slightly oversized in case I want to layer a sweater underneath, and it fits perfectly! The price is amazing for the quality, and even after multiple wears and washes, it’s still in excellent condition. Highly recommend for style, comfort, and practicality!

At 5'3 and 115-120lbs, I am normally an X-small. Due to the reviews I read, I decided to size up. With the small, the arms are really long. They completely cover my hands. However, the fit is comfortable for me - doesn't ride up when I lift my arms (cold belly is the worst!), plenty of room for movement and a medium weight (maybe even heavy-weight) hoodie underneath. My shoulders don't feel restricted, which I love since I hate having tight shouldered anything. I'm still contemplating if I really need room for a thick hoodie underneath since I'm going to Seattle in November (I live in California). I was FREEZING when I went last time, but this jacket is a lot warmer than the one I had awhile ago. Update: Ordered the x-small, and it fits, but it's very slim. I consider myself to have a relatively slender frame, and the X-small hugged my body very closely. I could only wear it with a t-shirt underneath and it was difficult to move my arms across my body. Waaaaay too tight to wear additional layers. It also rides up if you lift your arms, so if you're 5'3 and taller, you'd definitely end up with a cold belly.

Love this jacket! I'm traveling to New York late November and I think this jacket will keep me cozy. I first purchased the longer version with a hood, but It was too bulky for travel, plus the zipper wasn't smooth. So I returned it and chanced this shorter version without the hood. I'm 5'7" and 135 lbs, and I ususally wear a small (4-6). I purchased the small, but it gave me little wiggle room, plus little room for layering, and so---again (sorry Amazon)---I exchanged it for the medium, which fit's comfortably and leaves me room for layers. Beautiful, well made coat. I purchased the Chalk color. It's an off white, leaning towards cream. I don't wear white, because it flushes me out, but this chalk color is kind to my light skin tone. Light weight. Not as compact as down, but very similar to, and spares those poor ducks from being plucked.

This is my second jacket because my first is looking shabby because I wear it constantly in our colder months. It has a secret zipped pocket inside for valuables, it is the perfect weight, the sleeves have a protective glove-like attachment at the ends to keep your hands warm and keep out wind, the zipper never fails to slide smoothly, the back dips down a little to cover your rear a little more (and it also makes the design livelier), the pockets have warm lining and the special jacket lining really does warm you up like a little muffin in the oven. It’s perfect. Buy it now. Enjoy it always

I really like this coat-- My son plays hockey and I got this coat to wear over my new heated vest. The rinks are very cold, but there are days I dont even need the heated vest. I wasnt expecting it to be so warm, but the omni-heat really does work. A couple of things I really like are: the sleeves have the "comfy cuffs" with thumb holes. I actually didnt realize the coat had this and I probably would have passed on the coat had I known this, but turns it, this is a reason to give 5 stars. The material is black so wont show the dirt, but does help keep your hands warm, and doesn't allow the wind to get up the sleeves. I also love the fleece lined collar, you don't really notice this bc the coat is all black, but it definitely makes it warmer. My last coat did not have this and the cold nylon against my neck was not pleasant when I initially put it on. The fit is really nice too. I didn't want it to be a tight fit. It's fitted but relaxed. So happy for this purchase.

I love the color and, it’s nice and warm. Still getting the hang of the thumb-hole hand covers. The collar annoyingly flops down and does a 70’s spread that annoys me unless I zip it up further on my neck. A bit too warm of a coat for that in spring weather. Was a bit of a tighter fit than expected but it has loosened up a bit with wear. Tried & returned 2 other off brand coats that would barely zip first before finding and keeping this one.

So comfortable and warm! I hate bulky coats and this one is toasty while still being light. I have full range of motion and it looks great! I am ALWAYS cold and it snows abundantly here, so this gets heavy use and yet has almost no visible wear over the two years I have owned it. I recently lost the original purchase, so I bought another of the same coat and I have no regrets. Fits great!

I was searching for a down alternative jacket for some time and had to return others as they were thin and provided little warmth without layering. This jacket is great, very light (you can't roll it up to fit in a pocket but it is thin and light weight). Fits nicely and is not too large in waist area. I did size down to small though I am often a medium as I wanted a slimmer look. The reflective coating on inside looks a little odd but it must work as I had this on with just a t shirt in 40 degrees and it kept me very warm. With a sweater layer, I am sure this could work in 10/15 degrees cooler. Price point is great for the quality.
